LORENTA IS NOW AN ASSOC. MEMBER OF THE PIZEN PACT
Yesterday, Lorenta was accepted into the Pizen Pact (a military alliance) as an Associate Member

Damiena Broadcasting Corporation (DBC) - Page 2 Dadwdwd

DAMIENA - GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ANNOUNCED THAT THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF LORENTA WAS ACCEPTED INTO the Pizen Pact, a military alliance, which members such as, Syldavia, Okatabawashi, Shustrepistaz and Hiigara.

President Moore released a statement saying, "The military alliance is to help protect one another and come to each others aid if something where to happen. We are glad to be part of the alliance as our military is in the process of being modernized to meet the demands of Lorenta."

With fighting in Ceanda, do we need help? Or is this really a "alliance to help protect"?

LORENTA AND SHUSHTREPISTAZ OVERWHELM CEANDA
Lorenta and Shushtrepistaz push more aggressively to overthrow Ceanda.

Damiena Broadcasting Corporation (DBC) - Page 2 F22_09

LORENTA IN THE AIR AND ON THE LAND, SHUSHTREPISTAZ IN THE WATER. CAN CEANDA SURVIVE THE FIGHT? So far, it doesn't look like they will. Today, Shushtrepistaz sunk two of there 6 Navy Carriers near the border military base. The Lorentian Navy then assisted in helping rescue all of the people on border seeing as the people weren't the enemies. Minimal fatalities were reported. It is the Ceandian Government who claims to be a republic, when in fact, its a dictatorship.

The people are unhappy and want change. Protests have sprung up all across the nation, most in the capital city of, Proguea.

President Moore held a union meeting to expressing himself, "The people of Lorenta support us. The people of Ceanda support us. It's time to realize that the Ceandian Government WILL fall into pieces and they won't be able to pull themselves back together. Lorenta has technically won this war!" People shouted and rooted for the president while he gave the speech on television.

So is the war over almost 5 days after it started? Or does Ceanda have tricks up its sleve? I guess we will find out.

FINAL STAND-OFF - CEANDIAN WAR OVER?
Today, Shushtrepistaz and Lorenta troops push Ceandian forces completely back.

DAMIENA - MINISTER OF DEFENSE ANNOUNCED THAT THE CEANDIAN WAR IS "ALMOST OVER". WHY? THE Shushtrepistaz Navy and Lorentian Armed Force have pushed all of Ceandian's forces back to the capital city where protests have broken out and people trying to throw out the current government. People are voicing their opinions by protesting and writing messages on government buildings. At the Presidential House slurs such as "Get the f*** out!" and "Go die you little jacka**" have been written on the walls.

Jacques Gardner, Minister of Foreign Relations said, "We are glad the the people are helping us. Obviously they don't want the current government. It's time for Ceanda to be brought down. It's time for us to put an end to this war that THEY started."

President Moore released a statement saying, "They war is pretty much over. All we have to do is get the current dictator, some strong supports and put him on trial. Then, if they [the people of Ceanda] want to let them join Lorenta. We would gladly accept them with open arms."

Citizens from both sides of the border agree with all three representatives. Leanna Frances said, "I hate the Ceandian Government. I wish it would go to hell!" A resident of Lorenta said, "It had to come to war. The dictatorship wouldn't have fallen unless the people got really pissed off at the government. Of course they where almost there. Maybe Ceanda wanted to go out with a bang." That's one really bad "bang".

The 'Final Fight' is going on as we speak. Is the war over? Possibly. With the freed people join Lorenta? Everyone thinks so.

ATLANTIC COMMONWEALTH: WHAT ABOUT LORENTA?
Lorentian Officials have expressed that they are interested in the Atlantic Commonwealth

Is it possible for one nation to be in two blocs? Well Lorentian Officials think so. Today rumors of the Atlantic Commonwealth (an alliance between nations in the Atlantic) started to spread and intensify. Sadly, Lorenta wasn't on the list of "founding" members.

President Moore said, "I've heard rumors of this bloc in the Atlantic. I was hoping that we could be confronted and asked but of course we do have neutral relations with many countries in the Atlantic. I hope soon, that Lorenta would be reconsidered as a member of the Atlantic Commonwealth."

Foreign Relations Minister released a statement this evening saying, " I believe that being in the Atlantic Commonwealth would be beneficial to Lorenta and the other countries in the Atlantic. Lorenta has strong companies, good stocks and we don't have any major deficit. We are modernizing our military and opening economic ties with nations all over the world. We thought that countries in the Atlantic would be the first to do this, instead it was Asia (Shushtrepistaz and Syldavia)."

Earlier today, Ceandian Officials officially surrendered to the Lorentian Government ending the hostile relations between Lorenta and the "Federal Republic" of Ceanda. Many people thought this would boost helping Lorenta be accepted into the AC. Obviously not.

LORENTA RESIGNS FROM PIZEN PACT - BASES ON HOLD
Today around 4:00 P.M. EST time, Lorenta resigned from the Pizen Pact

TODAY AT 4:00 PM EST THE LORENTIAN GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED THAT THE NATION HAS RESIGNED FROM
the Pizen Pact. The bases which were suppose to be started in two weeks have been put on hold and many believe they will be canceled.

President Moore said, "While we resign from the Pact, and still wish to continue the ties with the nations who are in the Pact. We resigned because nothing happened with the alliance (such as roleplay). Lorenta is no longer part of the Pizen Pact form now on."

Defensive Minister said, "Many of the countries in the Atlantic didn't like us joining the Pizen Pact. We took the problems into consideration and when there wasn't any activity from Hiigara, Syldavia or Shushtrepistaz we decided that maybe this wasn't the best idea."

Many people celebrated the resignation from the Pizen Pact.

The two bases, Shustrepistaz's Naval Base and the Pizen Pact Military complex are on hold. Many expect both to be canceled. Stay tuned for more information.

Atlantic Commonwealth or Pizen Pact?
Is Lorenta in the middle of an AIN Cold War?

ATLANTIC CITY - Is Lorenta in the middle of a cold war between the blocs of AIN? The answer is, yes. We recently spoke with Professor Allen Marques from Atlantic City University (A.C.U.). He said that, "Cold War hasn't really ended. Many countries are fighting to stay ahead of one another. The only difference between them is that it is more revolved around technology. Countries want the next big then to happen there so they can rub it in the face of the other countries. The Cold War will always be present. It will never go away."

Now, this cold war is in fact different.

In the AIN the cold war has to deal with Technology, Business and Political Matters. Who has the biggest military? or I'm the biggest economic power! is something that is heard everyday coming from the countries. People want there country to be the biggest economic power or to have the biggest military to defend them. Wouldn't you want that?

So, back to Lorenta. Where does Lorenta stand in all of this?

Right in the middle.

Lorenta was once an associate member of a military alliance called the Pizen Pact. While being a member of the Pact, Lorentian Government officials expressed there interested in the Atlantic Commonwealth, a bloc that has yet to be signed by key government officials of AIN Nations. So who's side is the Lorentian Government on? Are they neutral to protect the people and reputation of Lorenta? Or are they going to join the Atlantic Commonwealth? No answers have been displayed or even presented. So I guess its up to you, the reader, to decide on the answers.

Lorenta Government All Alone - AC, Pizen, or NSA?
Three blocs, one alone country. Who should we join?

With the creation of the Neutral States of the Alliance bloc, Lorenta is the only major country not in a bloc. Lorentian officials have showed increased interests in the Atlantic Commonwealth among resigning from the Pizen Pact a couple of weeks back. The Lorentian Government thinks there is no chance of getting into the NSA, so why try? Although Lorenta is alone, it can easily defend itself if needed.

So, whats the pros and cons of the blocs?

The pros is that you have economic partners, allies, military partnerships and you have the ability to do anything you want. The cons, you have new enemies, less economic partners and sometimes relations just break down. So which bloc has the most pros? The Atlantic Commonwealth as the government has said.

The Atlantic Commonwealth is made up of some of the most biggest economic, militarily, and political powers in the AIN. Galbadia, the Atlantic Federation, Corraile, Llithustania are just the founding members. All of which are in or around the Atlantic Ocean. So why wasn't Lorenta addressed?

A statement from the AF:

This pact didn't envolve all nations on/bordering the Atlantic. We gathered only the nations that had already previous positive diplomatic cooperation history among themselves. AF, Llithustania, Galbadia and Corraile have an historic of diplomatic cooperation, as seen on the Corrailite and Galbadian joint force to fight back the insurgence on New Oren.
Lorenta didn't seem interested on the matter as it already joined another pact. Diplomatically speaking, Lorenta seemed distant from the nations in its neighborhood and didn't look very enthusiastic in joining the nations in its region. Lorenta is a new member on AIN and we need more avaliation and feedback before fully understanding it.

The Atlantic Commonwealth is not an answear to the Pizen Pact, as our nations have way a longer historic of cooperation and interaction:
This has being planned for a long time.

The Atlantic Federation does not respond to attempts of cooperation in any part of the World. Of all Western nations of AIN, the Atlantic Federation is the most well seen in the East, having strong military Alliances with Syldavia and a historic of economic partnership with Karasem, Hiigara and Shushtrespistaz.

Atlantic Federation - Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Now, remember this is an opinion article and these are my (the writer's opinions)

First of all, why did the Atlantic Federation not think that Lorenta wasn't interested in the Alliance Commonwealth, when in fact. It very much was. Lorentian Officials on several occasions asked the ambassadors to the AIN if there were any progress on the Commonwealth. No official responses were made. So, that piece of the official released was, not true.

Second of all. Lorenta was only in the Pizen Pact (PiPa) for a short period of time. The only reason for Lorenta leaving, that was revealed, was lack of activity and meetings. Obviously Lorenta WAS interested in the PiPa, but soon left. Skepticism has arisen as to why Lorenta left.

Thirdly, we all know that the Atlantic Commonwealth and the NSA was pushed forward because of the PiPa. It's is rather true.

Of course, the Atlantic Federation did get one piece of information correct, Lorenta is a new member of the AIN.

So, do we join the AC? Or do we stay independent?

I think we should join the Atlantic Commonwealth. Several reasons. First one, economy. If Lorenta want's to continue to prosper while the struggles of America and the Europe (EU debt crisis) continue, we need more trading partners. Lorenta doesn't have many trading agreement with the AC countries.

Secondly, military. Lorenta isn't about world domination. It's about not being stepped on by the bigger people, and the smaller people who think they are bigger. Lorenta wants to be known for good reasons. Many people say that Lorenta is one of the only true "non-corrupt " countries in the world.

And lastly, Lorenta has a big opportunity to become a political might in the AIN community and in the world. Although Lorenta seems bad when we say it like that, the government only wants to help the people and to know we will be there.

So yes, I agree with the government. Lorenta should be part of the AC for the benefit of the people and the economy.

Lorenta has recently joined AIN. Obviously we think the Atlantic Commonwealth was worth it because we pushed to join. The PiPa is not considered really important anymore. I consider it irrational and a mistake by our government (many people I know agree). Do you think the people of Lorenta would waste their time on something they don't want?

Illu'a - Lorenta Diplomatic Meeting Shows Results
The meeting resulted in a trade agreement and a new military base.

ATLANTIC CITY, LORENTA - After several days of meetings between Illu'a and the Lorentian delegation, several agreements have been reached. A senior Lorentian official said that, "We are glad to officially have good relations with Illu'a. We have waited a long time for this."

Foreign Relations Minister, Jacques Gardner announced the agreements reached in the meetings at a press conference 30 minutes ago. Gardner said, "We are glad to announce that after two days of meetings with Illu'a several agreements have been reached. One of the most important agreement is a military base. We are glad the Illu'a has chosen Lorenta to become great partners and we are glad that the military base is here." No location was given but speculation has risen that the military base will be in the south islands of Lorenta. Gardner went on ti say, "The second agreement we reached was a trade agreement. MARS (M.A.R.S.) Corporation will be allowed to open new offices in Illu'a with an agreement reached. We hope that this will help Lorenta's and Illu'a's economy. We wish to see our friend grow."

We reached to MARS Corporation to get a statement and CEO Matthew Crown said, "We are glad that we get to open new offices in Illu'a. When I receive the word that Illu'a agreed, we were absolutely thrilled. We plan to have a team visit Illu'a and start the search for a new office complex. We hope this will help both countries."
