Re: City Life...
Looks great!
Sorry if I am being too much of a nitpick, but you should change the sidewalks into a uniform color. I know I seen multicolored sidewalks before in real life, but you cannot control the color of sidewalks in game. :/ I suggest keeping it Maxis colored or some other Euro color.

Re: City Life...
1979 Pizen
The nation of the wounded soul
In 1979 Pizen was a place of radical ideas and of riots. The generation of post occupation has seen the collapse of the economical policies and lived in a nation blocked by the soviet union. Discontent, hatred and pain followed this generations. Many wore broth up on the ideas of the hatred towards the communist and USSR, after Albion was occupied in 1951-1953. The fear of the Soviet Invasion in 1979 was high, as films, books and speeches wore made telling about the soon coming invasion. Children wore tolled in school on how to defend there land. Defence of the borders wore at high. The Soviets, as many tought, will soon invade. The nation of the wounded soul
The 1979 seen the Albion economy at a state of near defolt. The Kran'etian Priest tolled of the soon ending world, many supported this idea. The Panic in central streets of Nogovicka, as people tought that soviet invasion has begun, after a plane with red stripes flown over the city. We will show a few movements rising in Albion and Pizen in 1979. The age of the nation of the wonded souls.
Albion Communist Party
The idea was to return the Albion People Republic, that existed from 1951-1953 and to join the fight against the Capitalist Government of Albion and of Hiigaran Confederacy. The Confederacy as it self was seen as racist and based on falls religiouse ideas.
On the basic the organization became a radical party attacking the elected government of Albion. The riots or as many call it "The Failed Soviet Revolution of 1963" was a event when 500 members of the party gathered on Tvorskaja and started breaking windows of shops and burning cars. The riots wore broth to the end with rude force and party banned.
Radical Right Albion
The parties like the "Hijaran One State Party" and the "Clan of Sajuuk" wore calling for the creation of the one country of Hiigara and cleaning the Hijaran nationality from the taken nationalities, like the Melkian wore seen as "Failed Hijarans" for being partly Tatar of origins. The only clean wore seen the Albionians, Kushanians and the Lesov. Other wore seen in need of cleaning there blood of not wanted. Homosexuality (Even tought Kran'et never seen it as a sin, only as a third sex) was seen as the destroyer of the clean Hijaran Blood and of lowering morality of the clean race.
The government of Albion played with this movements and trying to control them, as radical ideas wore even strong in the Duma of the Pizen. The parties wore banned in 1982, after five attacks on Gay Clubs, a Synagogue and on tourists, killing 12 people.
Albion Jurisko Party
The diffuclty in this period, that even that there wore many parties and elections wore created, there wore no real leader that could fight against the autoritarian rule of Jurisko.
In the Jurisko Years the economy has started growing after the soviet occupation and the destruction of three major cities like Pizen, Nogovicka and Rurov. The country was trying to copy the USA, with great construction of the so called "Albion Suburbs", around Pizen. Capitalism was the anwser to all and the Rulling party fought against the Communist with any force it could. Propaganda Films like "Nogovicka - Red Blood" and films "Invasion of Hiigara" wore great hits, even tought they wore very low budget.
The famouse VARP (Interior Anti-Radical Police) was main goal to end any possibilities of Communist coming to power in Alibion or any other Hijaran Nations. Many believe that the Communist Party Leader Orsov was killed by this police. The services also fought against any possibilities of unrest, but started failing after the 1978 and 1979 Protest for end of Jurisko Rule. In 1981, Jurisko left the Government Seat and a new Party of "Liberal Albion" was elected.
Albion Socialist Laughing District
The name came to this district after Jurisko tried to build a Capitalist Heaven District. Sadly it looked too much as Soviet New Arbat in Moscow and many named the district Socialist Laughing District. The round cafe - "Alberta" was once one of the most popular dancing places in the city, where even ABBA have perfermed. The Towers represent 3 Cities - Pizen, Nogovicka and Morskaja Gora. This district is the standing part of the city from one of the hardest and wierders times in Albion History.

Re: City Life...
The sexual revolution (also known as a time of "sexual liberation") was a social movement that challenged traditional codes of behavior related to sexuality and interpersonal relationships throughout the Western world from the 1960s into the 1980s. Many of the changes in sexual norms from this period have since become mainstream. The sexual revolution in Hiigara, wore influenced by RSFSR and the changing forces in the Hijaran Nations.
Sexual Liberty in 1920-1951
The Albion Second Republic, entered a golden age of social and sexual experimentation. The Laws of "Men Catching" (Homosexuality Laws) and "Women Laws" signed decrees equalizing the rights of women and men, legalized abortion. The woman received full independence, could freely choose their place of residence and a man. Everywhere, organized youth communes - Economic sexual groups, based on the communication of "free people who love each other in terms of independence" copying the RSFSR (Which done this in 1917). The Government at this moment was very close to the new regime in Russia and supported many changes and the collapse of the Russian Empire, which always wore seen as a treat to hijaran land.
Also, there are various types of society, "Down with shame!", Whose members are committed to the principle of appearing naked in public, and the Bureau of "free love", which were required to register unmarried girls from 18 to 32 years. Here, all interested persons had the right to choose male or female roommates in. Of course Down with shame was caught and ended, after a lady was frighted by a naked men and fell in a river. And "Free Love" ended in 1934 after one women has married 5 men and 1 woman.
The sexual experimentation and first LGBT movements have risen in Nogovicka and Pizen. The Albion Gay rights movement began in 1896 when a small circle of Gay male friends and associates began sporadic publication of the of the journal Gordost (Owner). The journal was a celebration of male art, literature, and camaraderie. It consisted of articles written by Gay scholars, erotic photographs, and perhaps most significantly, personal ads that allowed Gay men to meet discreetly and network with one another. The paper was made public in 1923 and published before the soviet invasion of Albion.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zKnOV16WuQ - Song popular in Nogovicka.
Gordost was not written as a means of political activism. Indeed, most of its readers were well-educated men who had already accepted their homosexuality.. Gay rights were debated and discussed in the leading Albion newspapers and in households throughout the country. Gay men emerged from the shadows of prejudice and myth to make their presence known to their straight countrymen.
... there were more Gay bars and periodicals in 1920 Nogovicka, the capital of Gay Albion, than there were in 1980 New York.
"They found themselves expected to settle down into the humdrum routine of Albion life as if nothing had happened, to accept the moral dicta of elders who seemed to them still to be living in a land of rosy ideals. They couldn't do it, and they very disrespectfully said so."
Women were just as anxious as the men to avoid returning to society's rules and roles. The term "flapper" first appeared in Great Britain after World War I. It was there used to describe young girls, still somewhat awkward in movement who had not yet entered womanhood. The Flappers' image consisted of drastic - to some, shocking - changes in women's clothing and hair. Nearly every article of clothing was trimmed down and lightened in order to make movement easier.
It is said that girls "parked" their corsets when they were to go dancing. The new, energetic dances of the Jazz Age, required women to be able to move freely, something the "ironsides" didn't allow. Replacing the pantaloons and corsets were underwear called "step-ins."
The outer clothing of flappers is even still extremely identifiable. This look, called "garconne" ("little boy"), was instigated by Coco Chanel. To look more like a boy, women tightly wound their chest with strips of cloth in order to flatten it. The waists of flapper clothes were dropped to the hipline. She wore stockings - made of rayon ("artificial silk") starting in 1923 - which the flapper often wore rolled over a garter belt.
Nogovicka and Pizen in 1920-1951 became the beacon of freedom and equallity. The cities have a big expantion as many moved to the city of the possibilities and of golden paths. Even after the economical collapse of Nogovicka Stock Exchange, following New York and the western world, the age did not end, but only expanded. But sadly all must come to an end sometimes.
While Soviet Union was annexing Baltic States and invading Poland, Pizen lived in quiet peace. Not many seen the future possibility of Soviet plans on Albion it self. General Anaxatiev written, that this time needs soldiers not feebly rights. But his words wore seen as to militarist and the government main goals wore not to make any moves against USSR or Germany and there allies.
In Second World War, Hiigaran Nations exept Seranto, wore neutral and not joined any sides. Nogovicka was feeled with refugees from all over the europe and you could hear German, French, Spanish. The city became an international peace heaven, where war was something far.
At this period the "Sexuality Univesity" was opened in Pizen, which goals wore to find is homosexuality, transexuality a normality. The research team was lead by Timlovski, one of the leading psyhologist in Albion pre-war. Women activists started demanding more rights for women and Olga Petroska was elected first woman Vice President in 1943. The country was still facing radical toughts from military command, like Officer Jurisko (Future Dictator in Albion) will gather the party of people for "Strong Albion", in which many rights that wore given make the nation week and easy pray.
In 1950, the propaganda against the Albion Republic was rising in USSR, many seen Albion as the heaven of corrupt capitalist world. The secret plan for the invasion was written in 1950 January 2.
On may 24, Nogovicka is bombed and the epoch of first sexual revolution is ended. With the collapse of the Second Republic, the years of freedom wore ended. The new laws stated that every Man and Woman, should be a citizen and his main goals wore to serve the state. All LGBT related wore seen as the capitalist counter-country and many representatives of the communities wore send to re-education. The Sexuality University, was closed and on it place was opened the "People University", all works wore burned.
"In the name of communism" was the main slogan of the new Soviet Albion Government, the people that once wore fellow albionians started killing there brothers. President Koliev, ordered many of the famous Art, Social and Political opposition to be send to camps near Nogovicka, Pizen, Rurov and Timolav.
At this period the gay rights movement was holted and its leaders wore taken to camps. Women rights wore still free, but many women that wore of "Free Life" wore convicted by the "Red Communes", made from workers and farmers. The incident with Klaudia Rurievna was one of the hardest. She lived in Pizen and was a signer in Theater "Oval", she was convicted in 1952 by a group of 3 Women from Village of Hopsv, her hair was shaved and she was send to work in the village.
The city of Nogovicka and Pizen lost it glamour, they wore beathen. And in 1953, the city liberation wore ruins of former sexual revolution.
End of Part 1.
