Should HTP be allowed?
PASSED | Help the Poverty Project
Help the Poverty Project, or HTP for short, is a co-project by the AIN Department of Education, Safety and Health and United by Faith Foundation. The aim of the project is to reduce the poverty conditions in any areas of the AIN Community. For more information, please click on the logo above.
Voting closes in nine days time on 25 June 2010. HTP requires a majority vote (2/3 vote) in order for HTP to be approved.

I voted Yes but Shushtrepistaz does not like that a Religious organization is funding and involving in this project

What's wrong with a religious organization being involved in HTP?

Re: PASSED | Help the Poverty Project
Shushtrepistaz does not like Religion Influencing people, when they are helping, ever since the Cult movement (Help the homeless) owned by a Cult who spreads there religion during this, but otherwise It is ok with it

ForthWall: As long as the United by Faith Foundation isn't a cult (I think it's a normal religious organization), everything should be fine.

Re: PASSED | Help the Poverty Project
United by Faith Foundation isn't a cult. It's an organization created by the Christians in Fornax. HTP is still mainly under AIN, therefore AIN have the highest say, with United by Faith having the next highest say.
But still, HTP's goal is to reduce poverty. Nothing else.

I voted no. I am also against the idea of religious influence. Typically, with religious charities, the help comes with a healthy dose of indoctrination.

I voted no, same reason as Dan, but also that we (Lanaya Gov.) already have a poverty help project in Ministère de la Population.

Neither Arcacia nor Lycanthia will abide by this, nor take part in it as it violates our national constitutions.

Re: PASSED | Help the Poverty Project
In what why it will violate your national constitutions? If you read the official HTP thread under the Department of Education, Safety and Health, any religious influence on the people are now discouraged.
