Initial Investigations have shown that the weather is the main suspect behind the accident. Initial Report No. 6 sates "The unsettled weather with crosswinds and strong tailwinds may be the primary cause of the accident. Weather conditions are being further investigated.

Meanwhile, the crew seem to be adequately professional enough to have handled the approach. While we do not rule out pilot error, it is largely proven that it is not important, or was a contributing factor, to the accident."
