History

Camano was first discovered by Europeans when Jacinto Caamaño landed on the island after a wayward storm pushed him off-course from going to the Philippines, then a Spanish territory. After a short week stay in September 1793, he drew a map that was later almost completely burned in a fire. The USS Abraham Lincoln reported finding the island on January 8, 2010 and the U.S. government started to settle the island as Camano County. A peaceful revolution took place upon the inauguration of County executive and later President Drake Brown on January 23, 2010 and Camano tested its first nuclear bomb on dirk Island on "Nuclear Day", now celebrated on January 24. Recently, a newspaper has been established (the Camano Times) and Camano is on the verge of a war with the United States and allies. After a brief stay as a League of Nations member, Camano decided to say goodbye on January 29, due to the migration of key members to other unions.

I like it. I see a couple of realism issues, but overall I think it's a very good application, so I'll vote YES, with room for improvement. As a side note, it's nice to see another predominantly Atheist country.
