Re: Author's Column
J'aime l'update qui s'apelle "Update 5: Vive le Québec! rurales des îles et plus de contenu sur mesure!" I like the cows and the realism
haha pardon my horrible french, just thought it would suit the title of the update better

Don't worry, from what I understand of French I thought the translation was "I like the cows and the realism". French is my sleeping lesson.

Re: Author's Column
I have always had a hatred for the French, the French language and the French country. Which is ironic since my dad works for the Anglo-French train company Eurostar...
I'm dropping French next year, and continuing with Italian.

Update 8: Exams, Summits and Finances
Hi y'all, just a quick update on what's coming up in Ollingdale. Sadly I have exams on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so the 10th Edition will be delayed slightly, since I've put quite a lot of new stuff up recently (eg, the Political parties list). I was putting up a list of ministers today, but some technical hitches with Photobucket mean it's illegible. I'm also sorting out the Union Summit this coming week, because I was away for the past 3-4 days on a last-minute holiday which scuppered my schedule for the Summit.
Also coming up is the State of Finances that will probably sort out any budgeting issues, certainly with the AIN Budget too. It will detail the GDP of the country, national debt, reserve bank finances and spending on each department.
The next edition will be a smaller one, looking at some maps of the country really, not a major one.

Update 9: Contrasting Cities
After the hiccup with the last edition, hopefully this one will be faster to load. If not, I might have to look into Imageshack and other providers than Photobucket. The next one is all about the railways, which are fast becoming the best way to travel around the big islands.
Also, I have been fiddling about with powerpoint so you should see some minor changes in the quality of the images, with some contrast changes and other small updates to the graphics. Now that the Budget and some other things are sorted out, my next big aim is finalising the AINGP track and obviously adding the next couple of editions.

Re: Author's Column
Thanks guys. Anyone got any ideas on what the population should be? What's your system on deciding population?

Re: Author's Column
Sorry if I wasn't clear. It's for the entire country, but I will probably need the island populations as well - but those can be worked out after I have some form of realistic national population.

Thanks Dryan, I'll use that as my basis to build an average population guide.

GEN2 Project
This morning
This afternoon
This evening
Now
Over the weekend I've been working away from Ollingdale, which will probably start slowing down soon since my other website has a big piece I need to work on over half term. But what I've been working on, mostly today, is GEN2, a little region that I hope, if these snippets go down well, will be a future publication. This weeks Ollingdale update will be posted later on in the week. I also need to work on the ongoing dispute with Arcacia. What do you think of the progress?
