Update 11: Kingdom of Cattala
Apologies about the lack of updates on Ollingdale recently, I'm still working on the big project at my other website and the Ollingdale-Holidia Summit has been my AIN priority atm, along with the court case. As you can see, work on GEN2 has been going well, with a name for the region and some graphics. I still haven't decided whether Cattala will be a new country, or even a replacement for Ollingdale, which would probably sink quietly away.
Cattala is much bigger than the UIO, and will be much better planned and won't have any oil, which is a big step away from where I started with journalling last year. If the reception for the Kingdom is good here, I might start another thread somewhere else detailing some information on Cattala and test the waters to see if I want to go ahead with it or just have it as a silent side project. Some of the towns are Natural Growth, others are more planned and much more constructed.

Re: Author's Column
Thanks! What's your opinion on it - should I pursue Cattala joining AIN, meaning Ollingdale will slowly sink into nothing, or just continue with Ollingdale and just leave Cattala behind?

Re: Author's Column
Well, it sounds like Cattala would be a better planned and have some improvements.
Besides the oil thing, what are some more pros and cons? Also, would it be a similar style, or complete revamp?

Re: Author's Column
Cattala is a much bigger group of islands, and would feature several cities, with different styles.
- Seina, probably the feature city, will be natural growth from a small farming town run by a Residents Association to whatever happens in the future.
- Calora is the town you see above - that will probably be the capital, and that would be more of a look-over of a partly-grown town.
- Another town, Jennai, will be the biggest city and probably the metropolis of the country, with a CBD, major residential areas and industrial centres.
- There is also another island, which I cannot remember the name of (info is on my other pc) which would be a huge agricultural centre, with lots of irrigation canals, forests, small villages etc.
There are other islands too, that I haven't got a plot for yet.

You lost it years ago.
Some great ideas there Thomas, can't wait to see this up in action - particularly Seina and Jennai
Re: Author's Column
But you didn't lose the "Worst Jokes Ever" book though did you Neil?
I have started Seina, might put some images up tomorrow. I haven't got round to Jennai yet. Still trying to get midrise homes to grow in Calora.

Re: Author's Column
Let me move this to the Ollingdale section, we're slightly off-topic.

Re: Author's Column
Well the ONP situation will steadily get worse, and may lead to the flag change becoming more prominent in the AIN, yes.
But I'm trialling the flag to see what people think. What's your opinion?
