Since Dryan (976) lives in an Islamic country, I assume that pig-related product is prohibited in Indonesia.
In case you guys don't know, Bali (I assume Dryan lives there based on his avatar info) is an island of Indonesia. Indonesia, is in South East Asia and its an Islamic country.
Btw, Jewish people also can't eat or touch pork.

According to Jewish law, pork is one of a number of foods forbidden
from consumption by Jews. These foods are known as "non-kosher" foods.
In order for a meat to be kosher, it must first come from a kosher
animal. A kosher animal must be a ruminant
and have split hooves - therefore cows, sheep, goats and deer are all
kosher, whereas camels and pigs (having each only one sign of kashrut)
are not kosher. [1]
The pig is the only common livestock animal that has split hooves but which is not a ruminant - its external aspect makes it appear kosher, while it is not.

Sorry Dryan but no. The only place I've been to in Indonesia is Bintan but it's for a school 4D3N camp.
I don't travel overseas as my family can't afford it. Even if they can, they don't know where to travel to. I only been to Singapore (my homeland), Chiang Mai, Thailand (my mom's birthplace), Bintan (school camp) and France (school trip).
It's pathetic that I'm the only Singaporean that didn't even visit their closest neighbour Malaysia. I had two chances to visit Malaysia (school trip and dad's boss' trip), but my family refuse.
I also once had a chance to go to China but because of the SARS outbreak, my father choose not to risk my life.
I have a feeling that I may visit USA or UK should I happen to be luckily chosen by URA (Singapore's Urban Redevelopment Authority) for the schlorship program.

Hawaii. It's the only state in the United States without snow, last time I checked.Aranho wrote:I don't travel overseas as my family can't afford it. Nonstop from Singapore to Newark, NJ. If you are chosen, you might be able to fly that ridiculously long flight.Aranho wrote:I have a feeling that I may visit USA or UK should I happen to be luckily chosen by URA (Singapore's Urban Redevelopment Authority) for the schlorship program.

None of NYC is in New Jersey. New Jersey is right across the river, and trains and buses go there. Newark Airport is used by NYC because:
a: its cheaper
b. Its less crowded
