The Future of SUTO

Okay so it seems from the summit that SUTO wasn't understood, wanted and/or had little contribution to roleplay within the union. From all I understood of it was that it was an organ based around NATO. However, before I realised this existed I had an idea for a similar organ based around:

• Military Cooperation
  
• Sharing of Intelligence
  
• Fair and regulated devlopment of the union's military (both nationally and unionally)
  
• Regulation of nuclear armaments and production of a viable option for nuclear safety
  
• Protection of Neutral states
  
• Provision of Humanitarian and Defensive Aid
  
• Provision of an AIN Secret Service for protection of Union staff, buildings and delegates
  

A full report/proposal will come in a week if i can get a 3/4 majority support for this reformation of SUTO

I voted yes, but only due to the provision that neutral states would be protected. Before I would support the proposal, I would need to read the full report.

I vote yes, I think anything we can do to sort out SUTO is good progress.

I'll say yes, but only if this SUTO-related organization is only within AIN and doesn't not involve non-AIN members.

The new SUTO (which may be renamed), is an AIN Oragan meaning only members (both Junior and Full) may join.

The report will be published shortly - since interest and support has been given, except it to be quite lengthy as I am in for a boring week having no money to do anything :: :roll:

This is a good idea in theory, but have we ever really used it?

The point is with this reform there will be better understanding of the organ and hopefully it will spark some roleplay with the new SUTO directy involved. I am going to try to create as many oppurtunioties as possible so that it can be used again and again for different roleplays.

Oh, ok, well yes, I do think we need more roleplays in the AIN

I just hope it doesn't see otherwise friendly nations declaring war on each other for the sake of roleplaying. That can end very badly.

Not all roleplaying is war though.

Provinces of Lydosia There's a non-official Province (Lanaya) and Bougainville (now official ) + Lydosia itself.

But that doesnt count has official land of lydosia. Territories dont count towards your nation. USA doesnt count Guam, Northern Marine Islands, Puetro Rico, and America Samoa as part of where the USA is. There just areas owned by the US

Yep, but if I say the Republic of Lydosia, that mean Lydosia (NA) + Overseas Territories (commonly called Provinces of Lydosia).
It's like the "Départements d'État Français" that contain all the French territories.

Either way it dont count blakeway. But France doesnt say were in Europe, south America, Caribbean, and Oceania. They just say there in Europe. Territories are self governed by themselves but watched over by a mother nation. Like the U.S's Puerto Rico is a self governed country. But they use the US Dollar and are watched over by the US Government as a mother nation

Opps. My bad. Should be 11%. But even if 7.6 million military personnels (including active, reserve and paramilitary) is somewhat unrealistic, take note that Fornax doesn't mix well with its neighbouring country Prenca, which is a military-strong country.
