XII Simlympic Games

Bidding Opens - March 1st

Host Announced - First week in April

Qualification Tournaments - April week 3/4

Anyone can bid to host the XII Simlympics. All you need to do is follow these easy steps:

1. Decide you want to bid!
2. Read what's needed to host the Simlympics:
- Bid Logo
- Bid Slogan

Venues:
- Athletics Stadium
- Swimming Pool
- Indoor Arenas
- Baseball Stadium(s)
- Archery Site
- Canoe Rapids
- Velodrome
- Road Cycling route
- A marathon, 20km and 50km Walk route
- A swimming marathon location
- A suitable Mountain biking location
- Equestrian Centre
- Field Hockey Stadium
- Football (Soccer) Stadiums
- Stretch of Water for Rowing
- Shooting Area
- Tennis Stadiums
- Triathlon Course
- Beach Volleyball Venue
- A Seaside Sailing Venue
- Open water swimming location
- BMX track
- Rugby Stadium (or appropriate substitution)
- Golf Course

Extra:
- Simlympic Village
Where the Athletes will stay

- Simlympic Park
Where some of the main stadiums will be located

- Hotels
High quality hotels for guests and press to stay in

- Transportation
Very reliable transportation between the venues is needed, as well as an International Airport. Good connections around the entire city are also needed.

- A Large city
With plenty of attractions, and things for visitors to do.

5. The best bid will then be selected by the ISC and will be named the host of the XII Simlympics





The ISC Session is where the host of the next Simlympics is decided. The eyes of the world are fixed upon the Session to discover which city will have the honour of hosting The Simlympic Games. The ISC Session to decide the host of the XII Simlympic games will be held in the first week of April.

Anyone is able to throw their self forward to host the Session, just simply create a thread here showcasing the city and the exact location of where the Session would take place.

The Simlympic Torch Relay is very similar to the Olympic Torch Relay. A Simlympic Torch tours around the world, stopping off in a different country/city every day on it's way to the host of the Simlympics. The Torch allows other countries to have a bit of the Simlympic Magic as well as preparing everyone for the Simlympics themselves.

Details of the XII Simlympics Torch Relay will be announced after the host of the games has been chosen.





Nations that are unsuccessful with their bid will still have an opportunity to take part in the Simlympic Games. They will be given the chance to host qualification rounds in some sports.

Hosting a Qualification Tournament is similar to hosting the Simlympics (But obviously on a smaller scale). Hosts will be expected to showcase pictures of the events, and results will be provided to you by the ISC beforehand.
