Approved: Junior Membership | Fairview Democratic Republic
Hi! Fairview is a democratic republic and I (Fairview's president) want Fairview to join Alliance of Independent Nations!
Official name of Fairview: Fairview Democratic Republic.
Official Flag:
Here we can see Bruxela's Historical Center!
We speak Archaic Portuguese in our Republic!
Capital: Bruxelas
2nd Capital: Nova Cidade do Centro
Our country is near the Ocean of Light!
It is localizated in Nova's Continent!(Europe in real).
Fairview have the highest standard quality of living!
Population: 1.200.000 million!
It is a country with mountains, rivers, lakes, forests...
President: Miguel Leal
Prime-minister:Nuno Leal
National's days: 20,21 and 22 of March!
History:As is the case across most of the Fairview, the human presence in the area can be dated back to the Paleolithic period from artifacts found on the surface. There is a more varied and more significant archaeological record of the Neolithic period (4, 000 to 1,500 BC) however. From the Chalcolithic to the time of the Highmans civilization occupation, mining operations, such as those in the Bruxelas area, were the chief motivation for the establishment of settlements in the interior. Under the Romans there were several fishing and fish salting centers dotted along the coast, the best documented of which is the "villa' at Cerro da Vila in Vila Nova de Cerveira. It is also clear from archaeological finds that the Highmans settled the spot on which Bruxelas castle now stands as well. Although the Hitmans left no trace of their passing, the same is not true of the Moors (8th to 13th centuries), for whom Bruxelas was an urban center of some importance. The Christian reconquest, in 1249, and the policy pursued throughout the Fairview of allowing the Moors to remain in quarters outside the city walls - known as Mourarias - made it possible for Fairview to continue to develop. With the initiation of a fair, in 1291, Fairview became one of the major focal points for trade in the Fairview in medieval times.
There are several sites dating back to the Aiegalithic period that merit a visit: the dolmen at Cerro das Pedras and the fallen menhir at Nova Cidade serrat, which is made of limestone that must have been brought a considerable distance, both of which are in the vicinity of Portimão; and the dolmens at Vilamoura and Pedra do Alagar (Bruxelas Oeste). The mosaics visible in some of its apartments and the structure of its baths make the rural "villa" at Cerro da Vila (3rd century) the region's most eloquent testimony to the period of Roman occupation. The site was inhabited from the 1st to the 9th centuries, into the period of :Moorish rule. Other Highmans structures include the bridge at Tor, over the pretty Fairview river, which has five arches and sturdy piers, the bridge at Barão, over the Quarteira river, which has only four arches, and near Bruxelas, the Alamos
bridge, which is a more modest affair, with just two arches. Near the coast, the remains of `'cetairas' - tanks used to salt fish - at the Bruxelas Velho archaeological site provide further confirmation of the intense fishing and fish-preserving industry that existed for centuries in the Fairview under the Highmans.
Fairview best ski station!
Normal temperatures! Mediterranic Clime!
I wish you to join me, you will not be disappointed!
Post Scriptum: My country was a foundater of a Simcity Union but it finishes 1 year ago!I have experience on SC4 Unions!

Well, first of all: Welcome to AIN
Secondly, Please get out of snow! Spring now!
Thirdly, your nation would be better without snow
Fourth, Need improvment for your flag
Overall: not decide but mostly Yes not official yet! So you're portuguese? there's a Brazilian, you may talk with him! Lucky, I don't have this change with my language haha

Blakeway... Just cause its spring here doesnt make it spring else where. When its Winter here, its summer in the Southern Hemisphere. I dont see whats wrong with having snow? It's his choice. But as for the flag i agree. PM me and i can make you a good one

I agree about the flag.
About the snow, in Saint Vincent it snows year round, due to its sub-Antarctic location. I don't see what's wrong with him having snow.
I think there's a lot of promise here, though I see room for improvement. That being said, there's enough custom content to keep it interesting.

I meant, look at the whole region: Some part snow, other part green, doesn't work.

Re: Approved: Junior Membership | Fairview Democratic Republic
Look, the snow is disapearing! That was a picture of winter and now we are entering spring. In some cities we have snow but it is disapearing.

Haha blake, please be nice to new people The parts that are green are probabaly the city plots that he hasn't developed yet
And everyone, polls have opened up, but make sure you validate your vote by posting what you said.
First off, I say muito obrigado for applying to AIN. I think that there's a couple of realism issues, but not major, and I think that they are fixable. A helpful advice is when taking pictures, make sure to remove the blue info box, makes the pictures much better. Like I said, I think there's definitely room for improvement and from that I will say YES.

I wasn't too sure at first - but the close-up shots are very good, obviously Peter's already mentioned the blue menu and the U-Drive-It icons need to go, but other than that it's pretty decent.
YES.
YES.

well its his city, he can do whatever with it, whether we like it or not. So if he chooses to have one part snowy and one part not snowy, then its his choice. And obviously the parts that doesnt have snow havent been opened or developed yet and thats understandable, not everyone opens up every city square in their region

Re: Approved: Junior Membership | Fairview Democratic Republic
You have some very clever and inspiring ideas, i like the avenues along the beach
I myself, am not a fan of the snow but hey, that's my personal opinion. Your flag has improved, that is a start. I would also like you to produce a map of your exact location if it is not too much bother.
Loads of potential here, I really want to see Fairview thrive and prosper.
There are some realism issues, that you with some help can iron out and I think I will prescribe a bit more custom content, I recommend 2 daily doses of simtropolis for the course of a week and not forgetting to make sure youexercise download more regularly.
Follow the doctor's orders and its a YES, WITH IMPROVEMENT
