The AINGP 2010
The AINGP is one of the first ever racing tournaments in SC4. It consists of 12 racetracks, which have yet to be decided. Only AIN Members can apply for their track to be graced by the Union's best cars and drivers.
Here's how the system works
Bidding
-Host nation gets to host 2 races
-Other 10 nations to host 1 race each
-NOTE: if no-one bids for the Host Nation, Corraile will be the default Host Nation.
Races
-Consisiting of Drivers and Builder's championship
Points system
Drivers
1st - 10pts
2nd - 6pts
3rd - 4pts
4th - 3pts
5th - 2pts
6th - 1pt
Anyone below will get no points
Builders
1st - 5pts
2nd - 4pts
3rd - 3pts
4th - 2pts
5th - 1pt
6th - 1/2pt
I do know I should contact admin first, but I pmed Saathoff and got no reply. I hope nobody minds that I took the initiative!

What do you mean by Builders?
I'd like to bid for a race, too.

Re: The AINGP 2010
I think it might be easier having the constructors points like F1 do, adding up both drivers points in each race.

Re: The AINGP 2010
I'll make a track bid!
South Moraltign International Raceway
Track overview
Turn 1
Turns 2-5
First hairpin curve
2nd hairpin
Final curves
I might make it a bit different, but it will have to do for now.

Re: The AINGP 2010
That looks like an SFBT Deadwoods soundwall.
Edit: Do you meant the inside fences?

Re: The AINGP 2010
Note:
An overhaul of the process is being proposed, due to the fact that here are too many national teams if we have only one tier. Therefore, I propose that we do a double-tier system.
What does this mean?
All teams will be randomly placed into 2 qualifying pools. They will race at a location which has yet to be determined. This will follow a points system, so if a driver representing at team is first, he gets 10 points, which will be used to determine if the team goes to the top tier. Remember, only the top 10 teams go the the top tier!
Teams that do not make the top ten, will still race, in a second tier.
Therefore, the AINGP will have 2 Host Nations.
Also, each team is required to have 2 drivers for their teams. And that only these engine manufacturers are allowed
-McLaren
-Mercedes
-Ferrari
-Renault
-Your country's engine manufacturer (technical support from manufacturers listed above are fine)
Finally, I'd like your help. Should both tiers race on the same track, albeit different times? Or totally different tracks?

Same track, same weekend. Kinda like how Nascar does some of their races, tier one practices, then tier two. Tier one qualifies, then tier two, ect.

I think Illu'a is worse than the Tirnreich. It's worth trying though.
