Strathmore-Palmona International Airport (SPA)

When I finished my international terminal, I decided that I am going to lease out gates to the airport in phases. Phase One is flights that land in the International Terminal. Phase 2 will be flights landing in Terminals 1 and 2. Now to get to business.

How did you get that overhead view?

By messing with the Gimp. I first skewed the picture to get the roads/buildings perfectly horizontal/vertical. Then I use a 1x1 square piece(the pedmall in the picture) to stretch the picture back to normal ratios. If that confused you, CSGdesign had a good tutorial on it somewhere.

Coincidentally, I started laying out ColumbiAir's routes in Google Earth last night. I had imagined using Colbitz as its Illu'a focus city, but Strathmore-Palmona works just as well.

All that's left in the International terminal is gates 25 and 29. Gate 29 is an A380 capable gate.
