Commander of the ROAAF Court Marsheled!

Today, General Hans VanHorn, commander of the Republic of Aleksania Air Force, was arrested by Aleksanian military police on charges of abuse of power. Aleksanian Chancellor Aleksandr Dziubla Facco said in a press confrence today, “This blatent abuse of power will not go unpunished. Not only did you kill civilians, you also killed allied soldiers and aid workers. This is a violation of the Geneva Convention. The Aleksanian government is willing to pay reperations to any people or the families of people affected by this attack, and I send my greatest appologies to all those affected.” As of now Hans VanHorn has been striped of his rank and is imprisoned at an undisclosed location awaiting trial by an Aleksanian Military Tribunal. It is expencted that he will be sentenced to at least three life sentences (60 years). The trial is set for May 5, 2010. Chancellor Facco says that the airmen that flew the mission will not be punished as “…they were just following orders….” Major General John McGowin has been promoted to the rank of General and has been put in command of the ROAAF. He has issued orders to the Aleksanian Airmen in Tirnreich to stand down.

The Tirnlander Officials applaud the efforts of the Aleksanian Military, but the Empire may still call the AIN Court to preside over the case of the commander and other officials.
