With the recent and quickly-spreading outbreak of Swine Flu, the Department of Safety and Health recommends that all AIN nations and dependencies to report their status to the Department.

The Department, together with the aid of Raffore Islands, will release about 100 tonnes vaccines to AIN members to try to slow down the spread of Swine Flu.

In response to the Swine Flu outbreak on Ceara Island, all visitors who has travelled to Ceara Island after April 20 2009 and has developed flu-like symptoms are to seek a doctor immediately. Cearian people who has been affected or suspected to be affected by Swine Flu are to return back to Ceara Islands via the survelience of the Government.

Ainkien's Health and Wellness Ministry has implemented Phase II of its pandemic illness plan. Key specific steps at this time is a recommendation for only essential travel to Mexico and has set up health checks at all ports of entry in both Ainkien and the Nalsa Islands. The health checks are mandatory only for travelers coming from Mexico, Texas, New York and California; voluntary for all others.

The confirmed case and suspected cases are all mild. The Ministry of Health is coordinating efforts with WHO and the US, Canadian, Mexican, Escambian and Belle Chasse governments.
