The Republic of Ascadylea is shocked and appalled by the irresponsible actions taken by Aleksania. As of this moment, all trade and diplomatic relations between Ascadylea and Aleksania have been indefinitely suspended.

The Republic of Aleksania defends its actions on the points below:

The nuclear device was extremely small, with a yield of only about 30 tons of TNT.

This was not a terrorist outpost, it was the KSR Army, a CONVENTIONAL FORCE

This was a last ditch effort, on ALEKSANIAN soil, may I remind you.

The fallout was carefully predicted, and will ONLY fall on extremely sparsely populated areas, and those will all be inside Aleksania

Aleksania has every right to defend itself.

Aleksania would never attack an Allie such as Bob. This was against a country that had formally DECLARED WAR against Aleksania.

This was not a "useless use of a nuclear bomb." This was a matter of the survival of Aleksania. If this attack had not been made, Aleksania in all likelihood would have been snuffed out of existence. This was an action of LAST RESORT. Aleksania is willing to pay reparations to ANY citizen, Aleksanian or otherwise, that can offer proof that they have been harmed by the attacks.

The Republic of Aleksania stands behind its actions and WILL NOT except any sanctions. We have every right, as a sovereign nation, to defend ourselves. We find it appalling that any nation would think otherwise. Aleksania will use military force to defend these rights.

Arcacia responds by saying that the same objective could have been achieved with the use of conventional weapons. The nuclear option was completely over the top. The case against Aleksania will proceed.

The United Islands of Ollingdale will continue to push for sanctions against the nation of Aleksania, and supports the Republic of Arcacia's action. A review of the measures in place against Aleksania will take place in less than 24 hours, which may result in further restrictions on Aleksania in Ollingdale.
The ambassador has been expelled from the country after refusing to answer questions posed by the Ollingdale Government.

DUE TO THE MEETING PROPOSED BY OLLINGDALE, THE ATLANTIC FEDERATION WILL STAY NEUTRAL UNTIL THE FOREIGN MINISTER SIGN - OR NOT - A TREATY WITH OLLINGDALE ABOUT THE ATLANTIC FEDERATION'S POSITION ON DEFENDING OR NOT ALEKSANIA. Very good points Aleksfacco, but note the one I had highlighted in red. If it was only 30 tons of TNT equivalent, why didnt you just use an actual non-nuclear weapon? You may have gotten your point across cleared had you not been only the second nation to detonate a nuclear weapon in war. This is what scares the people of Atrubia the most. You used an Atomic Weapon that xould have been easily matched by other weapons, even if they eeded to have more bombs dropped.

The Tirnreich is greatly appalled and saddened by this event. Due to the previous military crimes committed by Aleksania in the Acijnstani War, the Tirnreich would be present as a prosecutor in the AIN Court trial. Depending on the statements that will be made by the Emperor, the Minister of Defense, and the Minister of Justice, the Tirnreich may use this upcoming court date to prosecute Aleksania for its war crimes in Acijnstan.

By committing both these actions, the Tirnlander-Aleksanian relations have been deeply hurt.

After Aleksania have shown details of the nuclear bomb usage, the Department of Education, Safety and Health have decided to put the charges against Aleksania on hold until further evidence can proof that the nuclear bomb usage will not be as harsh as predicted.

Until then, the High Alert TAW will remain imposed on Aleksania.

The Rep. of Roanoke Island Secretary of State, and Dept of Safety has issue Code Red (High Alert) throughout the country due to the fact the Aleksania has nuclear weapons and it is unsure what they intend to do with them.
