Cattala seem to be scared of Shush and AF...

The Atlantic Federation is the central power of the AIN - it's the British Empire, so to speak. It's influence over a Pan-Continental Pact union would be massive, so obviously Cattala would secretly prefer to be in a smaller alliance with other nations of a similar size, so that it is more influential.

Shushtrepistaz is a little different. It's by no means as powerful a nation as the Atlantic Federation, despite a sharp rise in population recently that tried to make it as powerful as AF population-wise (sneaky, but not sneaky enough). Plus Shushtrepistaz is on the other side of the World to Cattala, so it's not as involved in European/African affairs as the Atlantic Federation.

Peuh, no offense, but British Empire failed so it's not a great example.

But I understand your point now. Cattala isn't inter rested that much about Asia.

Considering we dominated the seas of the world for over 100 years, were the first industrialised nation, ruled over a quarter of the globe and was home to a quarter of the worlds population, it hardly failed.
It was the largest empire in history, so if you call that a failure then I don't know what on earth you call a success.

no, I think what hes saying is that it no longer is a large empire, have lost/given up almost all its territories. but lets not get it to a nationalistic one-up argument, it will never end and there is no point to it.
