Government to be Restructured
Prime Minister of Raffore Islands, James Wee, have announced yesterday that the Rafforian Government will undergo restructuring after concerns that there are too many ministries and authorities. The Parliamentary Discussion about this issue will begin today the Raffore Islands Parliament at 2.30 pm Singapore Standard Time.

Pulling Out of the Bids for IUG, AIN Games?
Following the decision of the Raffore Islands Government Restructuring Programme, several members of the Parliament have proposed that Raffore Islands should pull out its bids for the upcoming Second Inter-Union Games in July (Confederacy of Free Regions and Scandia Union) and the Second AIN Games in June (Alliance of Independent Nations) as there are concerns that the Government will not able to cope with three major events happening at the same time. Meanwhile, Raffore Islands' bid for the upcoming First AINExpo in July has been cancelled, citing that the Government Restructuring Programme to be the cause.

Two Weeks Before National Pride Month Begins
It is two weeks left before National Pride Month begins in June 2009 and everyone could not wait for the day to arrive. National Pride Month begins on Independence Day which is on the 1st June 2009. National Pride Month is the month where every Rafforian celebrate the month when Raffore Islands achieved independence from Singapore on June 1st 1993. It is also the month when Raffore Islands fall into the Communist hands and when Raffore Islands merge with Singapore.

First Swine Flu Death in Raffore Islands
A 17 year old female Rafforian student died yesterday at Bayshore General Hospital, marking the first Swine Flu death of Raffore Islands. It is unclear how she has gotten the Swine Flu as she has not been to any Swine Flu affected countries for the pass two months. Raffore Islands currently have 385 confirmed cases, with a further 1 846 suspected cases.

After a two weeks hard fought battle in the Neutral Sector of the Milky Way, the COFR Space Station has fallen to the hands of the Fornax Empire. The Neutral Sector is the first sector in the Milky Way to be completely taken over by the Fornax Empire through military means. Currently, the Gaia Sector and the Ezra Sector are still begin attacked by the Fornax Empire.
