Fornax considering to leave AIN
In light of external pressure from AIN, Fornax have considered leaving AIN. The Republic believe that all countries have the rights to judge its own peopleby its law, not by international practice, that protects the citizen of Fornax. Amongst the members of PFP and FSP, 47 will be sentenced to death, while another 118 will be sentenced to caning. Amongst the 118, 37 were sentenced to 6 or more strokes of the cane, with 9 setenced to 10 or more strokes of the cane. Only 2 were sentenced to 12 strokes of the cane, the most setenced for this case. With AIN statement against torture, AIN is putting immense pressure on Fornax to limit the death sentencing from 1273 to the current 47, and abolish caning as a form of punishment.

Real-life Reason
I am currently considering leaving AIN because of the distraction I am receiving from this Alliance. I'm not saying that it's AIN's fault. It's because I am trying to lower my virtual activity so that I could concentrate on my studies. I love AIN, really. But choices like this is tough. Seeing the current situation about Fornax, if I really decide to leave AIN, at least I could find a role-playing reason why I, or Fornax rather, leave AIN. Let me think about this. I'll reply to you all soon about my decision.

In the meantime, remain strong. Don't break the bond we have together as an Alliance. Smile

Please don't leave - everyone has studies to deal with and there's no need to leave. You wouldn't be downgraded or anything, so whenever you are comfortable that you can mix AIN and studies without affecting your studies, you can just come back. I don't think leaving is completely necessary.

I would probably just put you down to observer, or associate member and then when you return upgrade you back to "full" member. A lot of people have school things and become inactive, so I don't think it's fair that we make them leave and then re apply when they have other things to do.
That's also why I haven't done a Member Checkpoint in the last three months.
