Onubis Updates

Very nice update! I hope it'll return to peace asap.

Onubis bare naked:



As you can see, I downloaded a new terrain mod because the old one was too dark and more like Maxis' way of the desert. Also, there's trees because higher the elevation, there's more grass. Keep in mind that this region is really from the region Sough Africa, not the Middle East. Thus, it wouldn't be accurate. Otherwise, I would've used the Cario map but I didn't think about that.....

Another thing, if you want a new side project. This is up to you guys now, but nothing mainstream because I HATE building the norm.

I've never seen anyone do a rainforest, tribal dwelling. That'd be an awesome one-update place to visit.

HHmm... I'll check the STEX to see if there are any tribal stuff.

Well.... I finally decided to remake my flag and coat of arms. Here it is!

Take note I would like to see you recreating a RL city in your side project..

As the military sends a UAV to scan for more terrorist groups. It appears around this general area contains enough to outnumber Onubis' 26th platoon.


Onubis has sent one of their spies to the area. The only safe drop zone is the packed urban area in the UAV's scanning.


The spy has traveled to a small seaport to search anything unusual. It appears that he was captured by one of the terrorists and transported to the cargo ship.


Due to the fact the ship is headed for Brazil, they had to jump off to a nearby coast-line in Onubis because they would be fleeing form the revolt.


As they travel upwards, it appears that they're in a small unknown town run by rebels and corrupt officals. But what will happen next? Stay tuned...

Well you get what i mean, amazing updates, just saw the previous one, its specatacular story, but sad. LOVE IT ALL STILL, I'm sucking up a lot of inspiration from your updates.....

aww and a city suggestion, try looking at Auckland, NZ...there a few bldgs over on the STEX and its fairly easy to recreate!

The way you lay those rocks about is just... stunning. And the photoshopping is superb.

Anyways, I started modding some terrain and know the mod that marsh uses? Now I'm using it. I figured out how to change the shore texture to higher elevations. It's pretty easy even I could do it. But, I'll leave that for the next update. I want my improvements to be a surprise....

The real update will come later, here's a taste of what's coming up.


You look closely, there's a new terrain at the bottom right and well as floral work. I know they're boxes all around and I'll get to that later on. The trees on the hills will be removed because of the terrain's temperture range factor has been increased from 0.03 to 20. Again, this is another WIP and yes, there will be more poor and fighting across this region. I don't want to go make another RL region cuz Im not finished this one yet.

It's great to see that you're moving up into the mountainous terrain. And the Pyrhrennian Terrain mod is one of my favourite non-Mediterranean mods out there.

This civil war has gone too far because the oil wealth has corrupted too many citizens. Look at the rich! All they do is just sit there and drink vodka all day. This really makes me mad because they don't use their excess cash to do anything for the good of the people.


Even the city center is filled with those type of people, sinners...


I mean, look at this, they're even wasting our well-earned wages just to light the high-rises.


Meanwhile in Europe....
The AIN Union has responded to the ongoing civil war and met in Trussels to discuss ways to stop the civil war. Currently, it's going to take days before any action could be put in place. So far, they're planning to support the Onubis government because the Prime Minister only served for four years and increased the overall wealth of Onubis.


Even at night, they still work around the clock to find ways to support the Onubis government.
