Woodb3kmaster: Thank you Zack - and I'm afraid the update below may disappoint you. ::
Sky Guy: Thank you for voting - and just like Zack, you will be disappointed now...
Miguel: Thank you for voting.
Julien: Thanks for voting, I'm glad you're looking forward to Jennai. I'll keep your ideas in mind.

Spy: Thanks for voting!
Dryan: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments, I'm so pleased you all enjoy Cattala. I'm sure you all know what a great feeling it is to get lots of comments. Now for some action from Seina!

Welcome back to Seina, in the heart of Cattala. Sunny conditions continue to shine over the province, and now the voting results are in! Now it’s time to see where we’re building today…
Is B! As you can see, construction has commenced and in the southern part of the new expansion, construction is finished.
Work has been slow on the new land to the north, with only a handful of diggers and workmen on site most days. Work has ground to a halt for unknown reasons recently.
In the centre of the village, some small homes were bought up by developers and replaced with in-demand luxury apartments. Here you can see work is on going near the high street.
Now a look at the new district, which features the town’s first water storage tower. Water used to be pumped in from Calora, and now water can be collected in the village itself.
Here we see the eastern part of the development, which boasts new local shops alongside the busy High Street that goes through the centre of the village.
With all the construction projects occurring, a small industrial site was built near the Miatona land, and much of the local logs and building materials now come from this site.
Now we see an overview of the unconstructed part of the new district – what do you suggest we build here?
To end with, an overview of the rapidly-expanding Seina village.

That's nice! I'd see more agriculture since you have a lot of houses.

Re: Monte Calida Province
awesome! I would love to see more of this type of development in there with maybe a park or pond like alex said. And then build more farms around that

I have the same opinion, some farms to sustent the village?

Re: Monte Calida Province
Aleks: I like the idea of the pond, that's a nice one. I'd also consider doing a stream/small river too, do you think that would be a good idea?
Julien: Definitely, agriculture will continue to expand in the future around Seina.
Dryan: Thanks, and they just, grew. Seina is one of about three tiles that are entirely grown, and is on my Mediterranean-only plugin mode too.
Sky Guy: Good idea. Although when the village grows into a town, how do you suggest I realistically claim the farmland? Little by little growth, or have the farmer move out of town, and sell the land? It was a big problem with Ollingdale City.
MiguelLeal: Yep, farms are a good idea.
Thank you all for your comments, I'm really pleased you all liked this update enough to comment and thank you for all your suggestions and support. :!!:

Re: Monte Calida Province
well, thats a tough one. I would say that once development reaches the brink of building on a farm, then the farmer can sell the property (probably large sections at a time) and can buy more land elsewhere.
I dont' know what the best way is, I am no professional.

Sky Guy: It's definitely a very hard thing to do. I'll study some Natural Growth CJs to see what they did, and hopefully get some inspiration.

Re: Monte Calida Province
Work is still ongoing on all of my other cities, but I thought I’d better keep you updated on what’s been happening in Seina.
And a lot has – the eastern expansion is now finished, with a pond area now the centre of the communal area. Wildlife has flocked to the area, and the village school recently went on a nature trip to the pond to see some of the fish and duck species that live there.
A new farm has also been built just north of the pond, and uses the water from the stream to produce high-quality, organic olives.
New high-technology industrial buildings and offices have also been constructed, and the average income in the village has risen sharply due to the new investment.
The pond is served by a freshwater stream that comes down from the northern hills, which villagers recently cleaned out and dredged, to increase water flow and reduce the risk of mild flooding.
Construction on the new building to the north of Seina is still ongoing, but the central parts of the new building are complete, and soar over the rest of the village. There’s still a lot of external construction needed though – only the eastern frame of the building is complete.
Landscaping work is nearly complete on the land, with fences and walkways nearly completed.
To end with, an overview of Seina. Where do you suggest we build next, and what do you think the building is?

Re: Monte Calida Province
I think the building is a hospital or a school.
Great job on this Thomas, but I'd see a bit more agriculture around the village.

Re: Monte Calida Province
hmm, hard to say- the gardens just throw me off.
I would like to see maybe some growth around the new building, or across the RR.
great update btw.

Re: Monte Calida Province
Looking good. I'd say add some Residential in the pond area. And add a farm In between the farm with light green crops and Miatona's Land.

Looks great!
I would suggest to place a landmark or public services building (school, hospital etc).

Re: Monte Calida Province
Julien: Thanks for the suggestion, and the comment! I'm definitely going to keep building agriculture, however the unemployment zots kept appearing so I had to build some industry to get more jobs.
Sky Guy: Thank you! I'm a little concerned that the building is going to be too big for the village, so I'm going to need some rapid growth to make it a bit more realistic.
Sirron Kcuhc: Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you liked the update.
Forthwall: Thank you for the comment, I'll keep working on it to make it more like the last one for you!
Dryan: Yep, a civic building seems to be the most popular choice for the building. Thanks for the suggestion!
Huston: Haha, I'm glad you liked it. I swear I have used your re-lots about a million times in Celeste, you will see them everywhere in the next update for the capital city.

Re: Monte Calida Province
Welcome to Seina, where construction has continued since we last visited. Let’s take a brief look around, shall we?
One of the first things I’d like to mention is that I have changed the pond into Diggis’ style. I’ve found it’s much nicer and more fitting in Cattala, and means that natural waterways, like we saw in the Eurellia update, will now all be from the same style.
Along the eastern border of Seina, a new farm has been opened by a wealthy landowner. It is fed by a small stream that also serves the pond to the north of this location.
To the south of Seina’s town centre, a small hamlet of also been built to house workers in the new farms that border the main road through the village.
And to end this short update, we’ll see an overview of the expanded Seina… Where should it grow next?
