Should Galbadia be accepted into the AIN?
Re: Approved: Junior Membership | República Socialista de Galbadia
Essential Prerequisites
A minimum of ten in-game pictures of your nation
A unique and realistic flag of your nation
A unique and realistic coat of arms for your nation
A map of your nation's location that does not overlap with an existing AIN nation and is realistic to your CJ style
A type of government that again matches your CJ style
A realistic size and population of your nation
No in-game UI
A reasonable ratio of custom content to maxis provided content (50/50 minimum), as that there is little repetition and a constant style of architecture
A detailed and realistic context (history) for your nation
The Network Addon Mod (NAM)
Supplementary Prerequisites
A custom terrain mod
Previous, positive and active contribution to the AIN
Attention to detail
A custom water mod
A decent amount of realism (no airports ending with a mountain or skyscrapers in the middle of a small town)
Regular updates and commitment to an external city journal (on either Simtropolis, SC4Devotion, SimPeg or Simsports, links required)
Active participation in a previous union (links required)
Have hosted a community event (must have been on a previous union or a site such as Simtropolis, SC4Devotion or Simsports, links required)
Realistic transport network appropriate to your city style and location (maps or pictures should be provided)
Custom Trees
Decent attempt at custom BATs/lots (pictures required)
Summary
Looking through the entire application, it is a humongous step forward from last time, and you really need to be commended on that. However, I can't find a history anywhere, so I've had to mark that as a red, which means until that is posted this application cannot go to voting.
EDIT: A nice history there, lots of facts and it's great that you're getting to know our other union members. Voting now open!

I have to honestly say that this is one of the best applicattions that I have seen in my SC4 live. Trillion times better than the the first application you made! And with your country we will have 3 portuguese speakers countries: Federação Atlântica, República Socialista de Galbadia e República Democrática de Fairview. :towelwave:

I'll recheck this later, but from what I've seen, great job!
From the pics, I would suggest maybe having slightly less pine trees for your terrain.

Looking good, haven't commented yet but this looks nice and a nice way to show the "goods" of Socialism and not the run down slums of what some people know it as, when voting does come it would be a yes from me.
Hmmm... The AIN flag pack may be updated soon
It looks like I can figure out some history from the pictures, but can't wait for more

Re: Approved: Junior Membership | República Socialista de Galbadia
here is the history, thanks spy by help
Galbadia was discovered by Pedro Alvares Cabral, on April the 25th of 1500, right after he left the Northeastern coast of Brazil. The island didn't seem a profitable place and the Portuguese lost the interest on it.
Six years later, the British crown sent some settlers to set up a small port, to serve as base for the ships heading south, to the unknown lands of Patagonia. The port soon became a small city, and more English settlers went to the island thanks to the low taxes for those living there.
Ten years later, the island was divided on 2, the Portuguese and the English side.
On 1822, the Portuguese part of the island (now Brazilian territory) became independent (September 7th, 1822), but only 1 year later the Brazilians sold their part of the island to pay the loan taken from England to equip their army and defend their territory against the Portuguese. Now the English renamed the place to Island of New Oren.
On 1923, the Island became independent, but still under the hands of the United Kingdom.
On 1983, New Oren helped the England on the Falklands War.
On 1989, the Socialist Revolution starts on Galbadia, leaded by the General Leandro Lima, and later, after 2 years of armed conflicts, on April the 23th 1991, they announce the Socialist victory, and the Republic of Galbadia is created and completely set free.
On August 8th, 2010, Galbadia open its doors to international relations and apply to join AIN.

Re: Approved: Junior Membership | República Socialista de Galbadia
If I may say so, I think that this application is well up for the vote. This prospective member has shown an ongoing commitment to the AIN for MONTHS now.
It is safe to say that he has already contributed to the AIN with a custom BAT for one of our members.
We have had some bad luck with applicants recently, but someone who has shown a repeated and consistent desire to become a member, and has shown just as much consistency in improving their application is precisely the kind of member we should be endorsing.
