I have not too much information on how to reality check this, but I'll try my best for now. If you don't know what something is, leave it blank.

If United+Continental keep all their flights in their merger, they would have 9 hubs and one focus city:
Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, Guam, Cleveland, Houston, and Newark, with Tokyo being a focus city.

Delta currently has 10 hubs:
Amsterdam, Cincinnati, Detroit, Atlanta, New York City, Memphis, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Tokyo, Paris, and Salt Lake City.

Unless these are very tiny hubs, there's no way AIN airlines can have 31 hubs.

Airline realism check Empty Re: Airline realism check

Post by emgmod 24th September 2010, 06:58

I'm doing this one airline at a time...

F. Air Realism Check

There are 31 hubs. That is... unrealistic. There was probably an error in translating. If it's based in Bruxelas Intl. Airport, then the main hub is probably there.

For European airlines, your number of passengers flown puts F. Air between Alitalia and Swiss International Air Lines in number of passengers.
Alitalia has a total of 154 planes.
Swiss International has a total of 86 planes.
F. Air currently has 63 planes. In my opinion, the number of planes should be around 100.

Compared to TAP Portugal, a nearby airline, F. Air runs around 80% more flights than TAP, and has 5 less destinations. TAP has 74 airplanes, but F. Air only has 63.

From what I can research, I deem F. Air somewhat realistic. But first, get more airplanes. Cheeky/Razz
