Guys, you don't need to say you voted. Actually only JM, FM and Admins can vote so its necessary. Cheeky/Razz

Yea Miguel it's part of the constitution...

And as the Constitution reads right now, shouldn't Junior Members not be allowed to vote?

Tyler - Junior members can vote. This has already been established. They just can't run for office.

The rule in the past about Junior members voting has not been enforced, such as in this case. I was surprised myself to find out about the restrictions on voting myself, when I was recently looking over the Five Pillar System we currently follow.
Hopefully the Junior voting reform will clarify the issue of where and when junior members can vote.

well then why don't we just make a point to start enforcing what we already have instead of making whole new amendments to the constitution? Cheeky/Razz

Because I believe that Junior members should have the right to vote on matters that affect them - which includes the constitution, which includes other memberships and includes all of the Five Pillars.
Therefore, I wish to allow them to do that, rather than restrict them and make them minor members of the union.

then what's the point of junior membership? The only difference is they can't vote on certain things and can't run for office...
