After a major 8-hour long meeting with several of the most important representatives of both Politics and Economics Federation-wide, the Federal congressmen made an official statement about the situation in the Mediterranean Sea region. "The Atlantic Federation must remain away from unstable areas, if we want to remain growing responsibly like we've managed for the last years." - Said Gordon Jarnin, Minister of Economics for the Veratlantian Republic. "We will not put our hands on an about to explode barrel of oil just because we want to feel a bit warmer - We can live without that money for now." - said the Federal President Sophia Elisian.

The Bank of Veratlantea - Atlantic Federation's Central state-run bank - registered major withdraws from business related to the Mediterranean area, specially Greece, Cattala, Portugal, Spain and Hiigara. Llithustania and it's Litusian Euro however, kept the investidors inspired as the Federation's money migrates from Asia (thanks to the recent crisis in Uroboria & Syldavia, followed by the September 10th Terrorist attack) and goes straight into Corraile, Llithustania, and the Asian exception, Okatabawashi - now the first most populated nation of the Alliance with similar living and economic power to AF.

Okatabawashi and Llithustania, along with Shushtrepistaz - recently prejudiced from the radiation problems coming from Syldavia, are now the big promisses for our investidors. Karasem - pehaps the only developing nation of AIN was praised by the senior economists, and is calling attention. It is probably the fastest growing country on the Alliance as its economy booms with the oil and natural gas exports.

The Congress also demanded from the Foreign Representants of AF more integration among the big markets of AIN, as the "G6" (Llithustania, AF, Okatabawashi, Shushtrepistaz, Lower Columbia and Hiigara) won't cooperate all at the same time. Michael Kral - Foreign Affairs Minister for the Federation said "We must and we can be the bridge between these nations, and a formal Summit is being planned by the FFAO".

As for now, the economic experts watch and wait for changes, specially from the Cattalians, who began to be nicknamed by the investidors as "Alliance's #1 Trouble Maker", as they cannot afford to be the first in pretty much any position in the economic rankings published over the Veratlantean States anymore, thanks to its recent policies over Diplomatic Affairs with neighbors and AIN Powers.

New Oren on AF: A Brighter Future?

The People's Square, where seats the Orenian Congress was taken by crowds of protestants, surprising the whole archipelago and quickly going into newspapers in 7 languages across the Greater Veratlantea. After Galbadians and Veratlanteans freed the unstable country from the Rebels and the Government's Secret Police ORA (Orenian Red Agents), thousands of people gathered to demand the New Oren to apply for AF.

With no riot police, it is the remaining Veratlantean soldiers themselves that are preventing the protestants to invade the National Assembly. This morning, the previous president of New Oren - Iuri Winsley just put his feet back on Orenian territory after the period he remained protected from the rebels in Mirvan, Northern Veratlantia, and now the people ask him to "finish the job". The popular leaders feel that if this chance is not taken now, another dictatorship or rebel command can step in power again. For them its now or never.

However, the Atlantic Federation must - by the Veratlatean Treaty - meet with Galbadian authorities before officially being able to make its decision. The protests are expected to grow over New Oren and during the next week the Federal Government will make a pre-meeting with representants of all current republics, and will also hold polls to indentify people's view on the subject.

New Oren finally can see the glow of Northern Veratlantia in the other side of the Alianta Strait, but there is still a long gap between protesting and signing the Declaration of the Union of the Veratlantean States.

THE Federal Goverment announced yesterday night that Liberators City is to become a Federal District, fully under control of the Federal Government and belonging to no nation, an special administrative zone - seat of the Federal Government. That gives Galiston and Alianta, two major cities the opportunity to bid for being the Veratlantian Republic national capital. Galiston claimed to be the original capital city for the Veratlanti people since Liberators City was elected to rule the State of Lions, the Federation, and the Free Republic of Veratlantia.

Alianta in other hand, is known as the city of diplomats, and is on the first state to rebel along with the Galbadians, that few months later would lead to the Liberators Revolution in the rush for full democracy on the Archipelago. Alianta claims to be the true "Liberators City", as the Liberators them selves started there. Alianta State is the first start on the ring of the Federal Flag, the first of the original states to say no to the United Republic of the Greater Veratlantea - a desguised dictatorship that fell in 1994. Alianta holds the Federation's 2nd largest seaport, and is the sister city of Galbadia DC, what would greatly improve the Veratlantians and Veratlanteans diplomatic ties with Galbadia.

Over the month of October one of these cities is to be chosen the new capital for one of our republics. There are also strong rummors of a political reform on AF to delimitate new special zones and give some risk to say new internal divisions are to be set.

Veratlanti = One born in the state of Central Veratlantia, in one of the Republics.
Veratlatian = One from the Veratlantian Republic - one of the 3 original republics of AF on 1997.
Veratlantean = One born in the Greater Veratantea, that is the main island in which all of the four republics are in. Someone born in New Aquitaine is a Veratlantean and a Aquitanese. Someone born in Northern Veratlantia is a Atlantean and a Veratlatean. The ones from the Veratlantian Republic are Veratlantians and Veratlanteans. It's similar to an English that also happens to be a British.
Veratlantic = One from the Veratlantean Archipelago. Galbadia and Ascadylea aswell as AF are all Veratlantic Nations.
Atlanteans are those born in Northern Veratlantia only - it is not a denonym for those born on AF.

Finally there seem to be a joint movement between the Atlantic neighbors and representatives from Galbadia, Corraile, Llithustania and The Federation are almost done signing and reviewing the terms that shall consolidade AIN's 4th bloc, the Atlantic Commonwealth. The Atlantic Commonwealth is to be the biggest Western Union ever created on AIN, holding more than 200 Million people and containing two of AIN's most valuable currencies, the Atlantic Pound and the Litusian Euro. The Atlantic Federation is still to propose the creation of a common currency between Llithustania, AF and Corraile - 3 of the top capitalist nations of AIN. All the countries in the bloc should fully open its borders and cut taxes to 0 to countries among the bloc. Also, Litusian and Corrailite ships are to be able to use AF's naval bases as well as the Veratlantean Navy is to be allowed in Litusian and Corrailite ports, however, military details are still to be set up. The 4 Nations are to officially found the bloc during this week, when the flag and the project for a single currency shall be presented.

This pact didn't envolve all nations on/bordering the Atlantic. We gathered only the nations that had already previous positive diplomatic cooperation history among themselves. AF, Llithustania, Galbadia and Corraile have an historic of diplomatic cooperation, as seen on the Corrailite and Galbadian joint force to fight back the insurgence on New Oren.
Lorenta didn't seem interested on the matter as it already joined another pact. Diplomatically speaking, Lorenta seemed distant from the nations in its neighborhood and didn't look very enthusiastic in joining the nations in its region. Lorenta is a new member on AIN and we need more avaliation and feedback before fully understanding it.

The Atlantic Commonwealth is not an answear to the Pizen Pact, as our nations have way a longer historic of cooperation and interaction:
This has being planned for a long time.

The Atlantic Federation does not respond to attempts of cooperation in any part of the World. Of all Western nations of AIN, the Atlantic Federation is the most well seen in the East, having strong military Alliances with Syldavia and a historic of economic partnership with Karasem, Hiigara and Shushtrespistaz.

Lorenta has been very involved in the Pizen Pact, but its just a military alliance. The Lorentian Government has been interested in the concept of the Atlantic Commonwealth since the first rumors were spoken of.
