It's a roleplay event system, in which signed-up nations participate in global events. The first one we had was a transatlantic hurricane/storm that affected the Atlantic Federation, Galbadia, Ascadylea, Corraile, Fairview and Llithustania.

In may of 2011, a new variety of flu was detected in Uroboria, where it seemed to be causing an unusually large number of deaths. Fear spread with the virus across continents and ocans, the Alliance Health Organization declared the H2N4. strain of flu to be the first alliance pandemic in 40 years. But as the number of cases rose, estimates of its lethality dropped sharply. Second wave of the virus came to China, a vaccine had been prepared, although it was initially in short supply. Cases are being seen in airports acrose AIN. Hiigara has already 121 documented cases and there are still fights to control it.

Although it is too early to write the obituary for flu, medical experts, already assessing how it was handled, have found that while luck played a part, as still not many countries have seen cases of the flu.

The outbreak highlighted many national weaknesses: old, slow vaccine technology; too much reliance on foreign vaccine factories; some major hospitals pushed to their limits by a relatively mild epidemic. While the former proved highly transmissible in children, it was only rarely lethal, remained susceptible to drugs and has not thus far mutated into an unpredictable monster. Vaccine supply is still a big problem.

It is now clear that this is the least lethal modern pandemic. The flu appears to kill about one of every 2,000 people who get it, Syldavian researchers say. (Cattalian researchers found half that death rate.) By contrast, the Spanish flu of 1918 killed about 50 of every 2,000, and the 1957 and 1968 pandemics killed about 4 of every 2,000.

The flu has reached more than 16 countries. Including Melkian Empire (Hiigaran United Confederacy), Syldavia, West Uroboria, South Uroboria, China, Karasem and other. Many countries still did not give information on the flu in there countries, creating fear of the flu still being not controlled. All comers to the Hiigaran Confederacy are tested and if there are fears of infection are send to the hospital.

Soldiers opened fire and killed at least 50 people and wounded several others Monday as tens of thousands of people protested in the East Uroboria against corruption.

Poor weather, high fuel costs, Flu and rising demand have contributed to rising prices of rice and other staple foods in much of the world. But in Uroboria, prices of some staples have increased more than 50 percent over the past few weeks.

The protesters in East Uroboria on Monday included women and children who marched against the refusal of many shopkeepers to accept the country's old 1,000 notes, which are worth 74 U.S. cents. Many of the protesters blamed the shopkeepers' refusal to honor the bills for sharply rising prices.

Shortly after the beginning of that demonstration, tens of thousands of people took to the streets, hurling stones that smashed the windshields of several cars and buses. Demonstrators threw rocks at shops and chaos erupted at the city's main market. Hundreds of shops and restaurants in east uroboria closed their doors for fear of looting.

"Traders have refused to take old notes," Keiko said as he rolled a tire that he intended to burn.

Shopkeepers in the sprawling Bakara market, which also houses a well-known open-air arms bazaar, say the interim government and unscrupulous businessmen are responsible for runaway inflation. "Businessmen blame the government, which does not control the security and circulation of money," said Omar a Hiigaran born, money-changer.

Doctor of Uroboria National Hospital said that a man who was wounded during the protests died on his way to an operating room. A protester, said that he was marching with his uncle in east city when soldiers opened fire and wounded his uncle, who died before he could be taken to the hospital.

Fears of a collapse of a government in East Uroboria and the conflict that has risen in all of Uroboria, have created a problematic situation for states that have interest in Uroboria Island. Many people in Uroboria demanded AIN Nations to enter the region for peace mission and to help with food prices.

Karasem — It is becoming a familiar tale of the Karasem seas: A retired couple sets out for the trip of a lifetime, sailing around the world in a relatively small yacht, blogging all the way, sharing adventures of meeting people, seeing exotic locales and experiencing the thrill of being totally free.

This is what drew Jean and Scott Adam, an Lower Columbian Couple with there friends from Galdabia, Cattala who have been sailing the globe for the past six years, to steer toward waters off the Karasem Coast.

“Tanjung Pogok is a big refueling stop,” Mrs. Adam, a retired dentist, wrote on the couple’s Web site. “I have NO idea what will happen in these ports, but perhaps we’ll do some local touring.”

But on Friday afternoon, their adventure took a hazardous turn when pirates hijacked their sailboat, with a total of 2 Lower Columbians,1 Galdabian and 2 Cattalians on board, attacking several hundred miles off the coast of Karasem, the Karasem military said. The Adams, from Marina Del Rey, were traveling with there friends from Galdabia and Cattala, Robert and Fiona, from Caleste and Samuel Kigs from Galdabia, . There has been no radio contact with them since they put out an S O S, officials said.

Their case is strikingly similar to that of Jon and Jane Smith, sailors from a London suburb seeking adventure in similar waters in 2009. Their boat was hijacked by Karasem gunmen, who held them for more than a year.

The Karasem Navy has pleaded with ship owners to stick to designated shipping lanes when passing through the national coast of there nation, where pirates continue to strike with impunity, despite the presence of dozens of warships. The Navy sometimes provides escorts for convoys and the ships travel in numbers, for safety.

“But we can’t track everything, we can’t track everybody, it’s too large of an area,” said Bob Prucha, a spokesman for the military’s Central Command, on Saturday. He added that it was “common knowledge” how dangerous those waters were.

Right now there is a demand of help to help the region against the pirates attacks which can get worse if not controlled.


Uroboria, Kegi — Fighting was heavy in parts of Kegi on Wednesday as Hiigaran troops continued to squeeze a large section of the city in an effort to rid it of insurgents believed to be part of milita.

Soldiers moved block by block through the city, the capital of Eastern South Uroboria, clearing houses and removing roadside bombs. As they pressed in, Hiigaran troops discovered a medical aid station for insurgents. The hospital, uncovered by troops from the Fifth Battalion, 20th Infantry, was equipped with oxygen tanks, defibrillators, generators and surgical equipment, as well as pieces of insurgent propaganda.

The Hiigaran effort got off to a slow start in the morning when blowing sand precluded reconnaissance and medevac flights. But as the weather cleared, the soldiers advanced into the western section of the city. Soldiers said they had received useful tips from some residents on the location of buried bombs and booby-trapped houses.

The insurgents have imposed a strict Christian creed, and some have even banned smoking, one resident told Capt. Vladimir Antol, the commander of Company B of the First Battalion, during his patrol through the neighborhood.

While the soldiers searched the houses, loud explosions rumbled through the city. Hiigarans were using satellite-guided bombs and rockets where underground bombs were believed to have been buried. The Hiigaran troops have found 25 improvised explosive devices and have destroyed five homes that were rigged with explosives, the military said in a statement.

In a statement, the Hiigaran military said it had killed 41 Militia operatives. Some wounded insurgents were reported to have escaped when they were taken into a nearby home by a group of woman and children, and Hiigaran troops held their fire.

Elsewhere in Eastern Uroboria Province, attacks continued on checkpoints and civilians. At least six civilians were killed, two of them by fire from allied troops, according to an Interior Ministry official in the province. Three soldiers also died when militants attacked their checkpoint, and the checkpoint building was mostly destroyed by a bomb.

The Government of Uroboria Army and the local neighborhood council helped rescue the children, and Hiigaran medics gave them initial care.

Hiigaran officials said shortly after midnight, that none of the planes that took part in the night-time raids were reported missing.

In Kegi, Mr. Al Gari leader of militia said in a speech broadcast by the Militia radio that "the mother of all battles had begun," according to news service reports. He called Hiigaran forces a "hypocritical criminal" and vowed to crush "the satanic intentions of the Konfederatisk." It was unclear when Mr. Al Gari had read his remarks, whether they had been pre-recorded or where he was at the time.

Mr. Sajuuk Khar said his goal "is not the conquest of Uroboria, it is the liberation." But he also said, "We are determined to knock out any militia potential. We will also destroy his weapons facilities."

Hiigaran forces at night opened the long threatened war to drive the militia from Kegi, striking Kegi suburbs and other targets regions taken by militia with waves of bombers and cruise missiles launched from naval vessels.

"The liberation of Uroboria has begun," Sajuk Khar said in a three-sentence statement confirming the start of the attack that was read by his spokesman, shortly after the raids began.

Later, in a televised address to the nation from the Council of 16 a somber Mr. Rismov from Tzargrad said that after months of continuous diplomatic overtures had failed to produce movement by the militia, the Hiigara and its allies "have no choice but to force milita by force to leave. We will not fail."

The nighttime attack was first reeled in television reports by Hiigaran corespondents in Kegi that the skies over the Eastern South Uroborian capital were alight with anti-aircraft and tracer fire. Initial reports were that multiple waves of warplanes bombed suburbs of Kegi, hitting oil refineries and the airport.

As the battle rages on against the militia is Eastern South Uroboria, the information came that Cattala Special Forces wore located in the region not informing any nations that are in the Alliance Peace Mission. Hiigaran Military was informed that there wore found Cattalian Personal working in the region. Shushtrepistaz has demanded that the Special Forces be triled under there national law.

Some parts of Asian AIN are reporting increases in pandemic flu activity, along with some deaths, while Syldavia, is reporting a rise in flu-like illnesses, particularly in young children.

Yesterday Hiigara's health ministry said nine pandemic flu fatalities have been reported so far in June, one from Konfederatisk state and four each from Melkia state and the city of Geiko, reported. An official told the news service that the ministry saw a rise in pandemic flu cases following rain activity in the area at the end of May.

The official said health officials are on alert because they expect more rains, but added that the country is more prepared now that a domestically produced pandemic flu vaccine is available, with three more expected to launch soon.

Meanwhile, Lower Colombian health officials are reporting increasing numbers of pandemic infections, according to closed informers. Kendall's health officials recently warned the capital's residents not to let down their guard after the number of weekly cases in the city increased from 2 to 14.

The AIN Health Organization (AHO) in its past several weekly global flu surveillance reports has said it expects to see hot spots of infections rise and fall, though activity is low in most parts of the world.

Shushtrepistaz's health ministry said today that flu-like illnesses have increased slowly over the past 2 weeks, with general practitioners seeing more illness in young children and the country's flu line reporting a steady increase in calls, especially people calling about illnesses in young children.

The ministry said the predominant virus is likely to be the pandemic flu strain and advised citizens to take precautions and receive the seasonal flu vaccine, which covers the pandemic virus.

Corraile and other Western Hemisphere countries are just starting their flu seasons. Corraile recently reported a rise in upper-respiratory infections, but said most of it was from respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

The fear is that the flu can grow and change quickly if not controlled. Many nation still did not give any information.


Expo 2011, Liberators City. -The city is gearing up for its own mega-event: the 2011 AIN Expo.

Although the AIN Expo may have lost much of the luster though the global financial crisis drags on, apparently no one has told Atlantic Federation: the city is planning to spend $45 billion, more than was spent on the older expos, to upgrade Liberator’s City infrastructure, build new transportation links and create what organizers promise will be the biggest and most extravagant Expo ever.

Architects and city planners say the city is using the Expo as an excuse to go on a huge spending spree that will help stimulate a weakening local economy but also push forward an already breathtaking transformation in this city of 20 million.

“Every city has its own historical moment to transform and develop itself, and now it is Liberators moment,” said Lee Black, a professor of urban studies at the Liberators Academy of Social Sciences.

The Expo is also advancing a larger government goal of bolstering the economy and turning Liberators into a global financial center and a world-class city.

South Uroboria's riots in Kegi | Uroboria's Flu - Vladivostok Informer

Kegi — Mango is Kegi's well-to-do oasis. It has fancy pastry shops, jewelry stores, a designer furniture boutique and an elite social club. But it is no longer the address everyone wants.

In the past two months, insurgents have gunned down a city councilman, kidnapped four Hijaran Embassy workers, shot and killed a tailor in his shop and bombed a pastry shop.

"It's falling to the terrorists," said Mualla, director of the Hunting Club, a social club in the affluent area that lies just five kilometers, or three miles, from the Hijaran Controlled Zone. "They are coming nearer to us now.."

For most of the past two months, East South Uroboria has drifted without a government and its security forces have largely stood by and watched at most crucial moments, like the one in may, when Christian militias killed buddhist after the bombing of a Church.

Now, as Dras'kon leaders in the Green Zone savor their recent successes - the naming of the first permanent government since the fall of anarchy and the return of the Kegi Center to the government. Urobarians outside its walls are more frightened than ever.

As the fighting still continues in the East South Uroboria, a scandal has broken between Cattala and Hijara. As Cattalan Secret Services wore located in Kegi and in Sankt Amursk (Largest Military Port in Hijara). Already many nations of AIN demanded the gathering of the first security council. It will be opened after the review of the updates to the constitusion. Hijara still remember the events of the Plane incident with Cattala. As relationship between the nations go lower, so is the hope for the quick return of peace to Kegi, as nations fail quickly unite against the militia.

Tirnreich — Trnreich officials said Thursday that they had arrested two former Primorski International Bank (Vladivostok Bank) executives, the first such arrests since its collapse 2 months ago.

According to Anna Gerstad, the deputy attorney general, the authorities arrested Vladisvav Riskov, the bank’s former chairman, and Boris Glebov, its former chief executive officer, on Wednesday in connection with what Ms. Gerstad said was $900 million in fraudulent loans to bank officers and insiders, many of them politically well connected. She declined to specify what charges had been brought against the two, but she said they were being held at the Detention Center for further investigation.

She said other arrests were expected in connection with the case, both among Primorski International Bank figures and Central Bank officials.

The arrests were the first in the Bank affair since exposure of the bank’s huge losses last may. Some $900 million in loans were made to insiders with little or no collateral and even no repayment plan in what auditors have described as effectively an extensive Ponzi scheme. Among loan recipients were many influential political and social leaders of the alliance.

The attorney general also brought charges this week against the other parts of the banks located in Norston and Corraile.

“The Central Bank officially requested a special prosecution and a special tribunal to try those who have been implicated in fraud, mismanagement, misuse of funds and embezzlement of hundreds of millions of dollars from Primorski International Bank,” and its braches."


Lower Columbia Tons of Meth Chemicals Seized and Epidemic worse then AIN Flu.
The Seattle Police has seized about 425 tons of chemicals used for making methamphetamine in a raid in Seattle, one of the biggest finds of its kind ever made in the country. The seizure took place in a warehouse in an industrial area in port district. Police Ministry said in a statement late Wednesday. According to local news media reports and a leading analyst, it was the largest seizure of meth chemicals since called for an police-led crackdown on drug mafia. Meth, a stimulant, is smuggled into the Lower Columbia from the poorer regions of AIN and sold in crystal or powder form.

This incident has created a question, on the matter of the drug epidemic that is rocking trow many countries in the alliance. Like the incident of Seranto (Hiigara) Desomorphine epidemic called "Krokodil Epidemic" (Alligator Epidemic). Seranto is one of the poorerst regions in Hiigara and ravaged by blood flued. The street name in Russia is krokodil (crocodile) and it is used as a cheaper alternative to heroin, as codeine tablets are available without a prescription. Already the Hiigaran Confederacy has tried to close the companies that sell Desomorphine tablets for cough.

Other countries have the same situation, as many drugs are sold in nightlife venues and population of age from 18-25 is the main at risk of them trying drugs.

Konfederatisk, Hiigara - Evacuation of High Rise Apartments and Offices, have been made today, as a treat of a terrorist attack wore today seen. SylOkaSh Flight 582, Jeakai to Vladivastok, was hijacked when it was 40 minutes away from Vladivostok. The terrorists demanded that the plane goes to Konfederatisk, capital of Hiigara. The Pilots of the Flight 582, did not tell the hijackers that the plane has only fuel to there destination end. There are still no information on deaths or survivers, as the plane has crashed in the hard to get area. The attack was planned to be made against the Hiigaran side, as still military of the confederacy is located in Kegi and fighting the seperatist movement in the region.

At this time Konfederatisk, offices are evacuated and the subway has stopped working. There is still a strong possibility of terrorist making a second try to attack, air space near the major cities is closed to any airplanes, exept military. Flight 231 from Syldavia, has been landed in Melkia. The flight was from Klow to Al Garibat. Right now there is no information is the plane hijacked.

Nogovicka has closed it airport in Vodski for two hours, all planes are landed in Morskaja International Aiport. AIN Tower is checked for bombs, all venues will today be closed. The government asked the citizens of the city to try and avoid gathering.

Hiigaran Confederacy demands the gathering of the security council on the matter of Alliance Security, as security risks in AIN are high. Also there will be a matter of questioning the Cattalian Military, on what wore they doing in the Uroboria Region.


Many Central Lithustanians gathered for the celebration of the Central Lithustnian State Weekend. The day has been seen as one of the most important in the central part of the country. Every state of the Lithustania, has there own celebrations. The Central Llithustania Weekend Holiday Celebration goes on during the 10th September to the 11th September this year (Every other year can depend, they try to line the holiday in the weekends) and is a state-wide holiday which celebrates the pride of the people in the state, and it's centuries of history and presence. The people often primarily gather in major cities such as Maine, Agiscon and Irolaen to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The events will have a festival of the folk music, national cuisine tasting and many other events. Llithustania is now the place to be.
