Proposal | Union Calendar

I think it's time that we cemented a union calendar that will have one event per month so that we can keep active, and other people can have their events up there as well. With the Union Summit stalling, we need to get some other things going and clearly need to sustain the events each month to keep the union active. Here's my draft one.

January: Presidential Awards and Union Awards
February:
March: Spring Elections, Alliance Winter Games
April:
May: Annual Union Summit
June:
July: Expo, Mediterranean Music Festival
August: Redding Comedy Festival, Alliance Summer Games
September: Autumn Elections
October: AINVision
November:
December: Union Ball, New Year and Christmas Celebrations

We need the Alliance Games to be added to this list, so the Head of the Games needs to suggest months when it doesn't clash with the Simlympics. We also need to decide when AINVision and EXPO are hosted. Also if anyone has any other union events they can suggest, that'd be great.

I'll talk to Daniel and see what time of year would fit into the schedule with the simlympics.

Best to speak to Zack about that. He's on the ISC. I'm not really up with the Simlympic schedule, especially as it seems to change.

It certainly does. However, supposing that next year's schedule will be the same as this year's (Winter Games in February, Summer Games in June and October), and looking at our schedule as it stands, I recommend holding the Alliance Games in either April or November, whichever seems best to you guys.

Well, our Winter Games are usually March, the Summer Games would probably fit best in between the 2 Summer Simlympics, so July-August-ish.

Me too. But thinking about how it spent me time and I didn't win...

Also, add the International Music Festival in July. Fairview will organize it.

Winter Games will be in March, and Summer Games in August. Does that sound okay?

With an International Music Festival being held in July, I propose that AINVision is held in October and the EXPO in July.

We still need events for February, April, June and November. Some of the events already on the list may need to be moved around.

In December Fairview will hold again the AIN Snow Event II edition but maybe it will be gathered with thee Christmas and New Year celebrations.

March and August are fine for the Winter and Summer games

I think you forget Royal Ball II in June.

October 2011: Simlympics (might be host by your humble servant writting at the moment)

This is a calendar for annual events that take place within the AIN. I don't know if the Royal Ball is going to take place every June, and the Simlympics aren't an AIN event, although if an AIN nation wins then it will be simulcasted here.

EXPO will be hosted in July from now on, AINVision in October.

Sorry, this is a little late but change the name of the International Music Festival to Mediterranean Music Festival.
