Arcacian Airlines Updates Fleet
PROVIDENCE: Arcacian Airlines has completed its fleet upgrade after taking delivery of 6 brand new Boeing 737-800s to replace the 737-400s used by the airline since 1998. The delivery comes hot on the heels of the Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which were delivered last month and this week entered service, replacing the 747 and 767. The new planes flew in convoy from the Boeing plant in Seattle, landing half an hour apart in Providence today. The new planes will enter service from tomorrow.
The airline says that the arrival of the new 737 completes the fleet upgrade and the airline's "slimming down" phase, which has seen it cut several long-haul destinations. The airline says passengers can expect cheaper fares and more comfortable travel from now on with at least 5-10% reductions in ticket prices due to lower operating costs associated with the new planes.

Great video and great images too - It's good to see so much care and detail put into your airline.

OK, ignore all that. The Project Opensky plane that I downloaded for this is absolutely terrible. It flies like a tank and then takes almost all the runway to land. I've decided to revert to the 737-400 until someone designs an alternative that doesn't require a complete overhaul before it is flyable.

SUCCESS!! I've managed to put together a workaround by merging the Project Opensky 737-800 with the default 737-400. So, it's back to business as normal.

Arcacian Airlines announces the arrival of its new Airbus A380s. The two giant planes touched in Providence an hour apart today. The flying cruise ships are currently on public display on the freight apron and will enter service on December 4, replacing the ageing Boeing 747-400s which have been with the airline since 1991. The new planes mean that Aracian Airlines is now operating a very young fleet, with the oldest plane, an Embraer 170, being only 5 years old.
The A380 was chosen as it was the only aircraft that offered the ability to provide a flying experience similar to being on a cruise ship. It is the first time in the airline's history that Airbus has won over Boeing. The airline had been considering the new 747-8, but went with Airbus after Boeing withdrew the Skyloft option.
The A380 contains 4 classes of service. First Class consists of opulent suites, 6 of which are side-by-side and can be combined to form double beds. Large Business Class seats stretch out to flat beds which are private and comfortable. There are 30 Premium Economy seats on the upper deck, each with an associated berth in a separate cabin. Economy seats are wider with more legroom and greater seat pitch.
The A380 will operate between Providence and Frankfurt via Hong Kong, and New York via Los Angeles.

Fantastic news, great to see some diversification and a lot of depth to your post. That plane looks really good as well - it must have taken a long time.
