Arcacian Airlines is Arcacia's national airline. It is a full service airline flying to several destinations all over the world. It was founded in 1931.
In 2010, Arcacian Airlines became the parent company of Air Lycanth after the protectorate agreement saw Arcacian Airlines gain a 25% share in Lycanthia's national carrier to prevent the airline going bankrupt. Also in 2010, Arcacian Airlines purchased the Australian Airlines brand from Qantas and the East-West Airlines brand from Ansett which had been in administration following its collapse a few years earlier. Arcacian fully revived both brands, with East-West being a low-cost subsidiary of Australian. The most recent development was the introduction of SouthAir. Based in Saint Vincent, this full service all economy airline has exclusive rights to the highly profitable Saint Vincent-Providence route as well as connecting the remote snow-bound island with Australia and New Zealand. SouthAir will also begin weekly flights to Antarctica during Summer months starting in December 2010.
