Awesome work.

Half of the city went under water and many districts that wore below the water wore sadly destroyed, but this created a new age for many new districts and made Kartoba a unique project from desert to lush half island. Enjoy.


Before the project here wore located the reserch facility, it was on the lowest point so it got under water tottaly. Now on this location is located the Holiest Shrine in Hiigara - The White Temple and The holy lakes.

The Kartoba Temple Parks wore the luckiest half of them survived, but the lowest district whent under water. So the new is the Symbol of Kartoba "The Three Headed Goddess" statue located in this park. The new district and beach are one of the famouses "Garden Beaches" where many people gather to pray or to just relax.

The former Holy Shrine of Kartoba totally lost and went under water whit the bridge. Non here is located the Old Kartoba District. The only thing that survives or was remade is the Monorail Tracks.

Luckly the highest point was the location of "old modern Kartoba" the city was kept as it is, only changes wore made to the Sea that now is near the city.

More pictures of Modern Kartoba, the city growth is really big. It already became second largest city in hiigaran confederacy and growth still is going on. The city almost totally survived but 40% of smaller towns and communities went under water and wore destroyed by me, because i dident see any path on saving them from destrution.

District of Belgor (White Gor) it is the richest and one of the most great districts located far from the cities main centers of population it is one of the biggest and best to live in. High Rise Offices and Appartments are located here, only if you have money you can live here. The Harbor of Rapir is located here, whit 5 huge beaches.

Modern City near the Sea half is old, half is the new. The City growth begun here from the old district which many call the "Throat of the City" many main roads go trow it and connect the city. But because of this bridge of "Prosperity" was build to connect the 3 parts of the city.

Old City is where all begun, formally it was only a desert, now it is the symbol of Kartoba as it try to save it histrory from modernity.

It's very... American.

I just feel all the glass and big skyscrapers is very American styled, it's all planned and stuff, there's some grid-style areas too which are very American.

We'll I don't want to say you what to do, but for your location I'd see more things like that:

And not those big Asian/American big Glass Skyscrapers of cities of over 10 millions of inhabitants.

Well its more of my view of the city and the growth of Hiigara. I have more eastern european cities like - Pizen and etc. But well i beleave that its better to make something diffrent and interesting, but well you are in some parts right, but well still love my cities.

I never said your cities weren't good, it's a awesome job! But just that it should have a bit more European Oldy in my opinion.

I meant to say that I like sometimes building this way. )))) I think the best thing that we better to build freely.

I would love to see more of the things Julien suggested, and you could have a modern central like moscow.

Very nice cities!

However, I do have a dew suggestions:

-The road sidewalk could be changed to a tiled sidewalk next to the buildings. It looks awkward, but you could photoshop it and see how it turns out!

-Try to make it more European than American. I feel like I'm in America instead of Poland or Germany. Try replacing American housing with Polish W2Ws and other buildings. It really makes a difference when it comes to Architechure.

-Add seawalls to your skylines, it makes it look more urban as well more safer. You don't want your sims falling off the coast would you? :twisted:

I guess those are the only suggestions I have so far. I'd like to see more and some improvement too!

To contrast, Evilions, I think the coast looks superb!

Any pattern or style you used to make the trees look so good?

Sometimes i need to destroy the trees and try to make new ones. Sooo well the best thing is to look what looks great for the district.

Thanks for all your advise. Well I'm not building american style, i just like it that way. Sooo i don't really want to build W2W buildings, i want something modern for my country. And well looking at russian cities, well in the future if all plans will go well Moscow, St.Petersburg will change it faces pretty much. Sooo well i want many of my cities to be modern. But still thanks for an advises, but well this only one that i will not be thinking about.

And well the problem whit the coast, well in liberty city i build a huge coastal port and well it looked tooooo not interesting for me. And well i like the beaches and think that they look like Silver Beach in Moscow, a forest near the center, which was not touched by the Moscow government. Sooo i like them.

well, If your happy we are happy.

Build by the Ancient Greeks, the settlement of Karintos was protected by a Fort. It was destroyed and rebuild by the Romans and after that by the Turks. In 1543 State of Acirifa liberated it self and the fight for Kartoba begun. The city was almost totally destroyed by the Turks, but they failed to take the Citadel. Even after the main gates fell the Fort was still defended and the Acirifian State was created. After the battle a Church was planned and the "Gates Church" was build in the name of Protector Goddess of Kartoba and Sajuuk.


A not far is the district of Aime. A peaceful district build in 1826 by the citizens of Kartoba. This is the cities historical center. You can see the White big building it is "Acirifian-Hiigaran Library" build after the second world war, the older library was destroyed by the Italian Bombardments of the city. The city was the only capital that was bombed in second world war.

Sajuuk Temple Park. It is the symbol of the city, here you can bring sacrifice of fruits, animals and money to Sajuuk.
