History:

1132 AD: Settlers begin colonizing the huge continent located in the middle of the pacific, near the equator. The island is surrounded by huge mountains that protect it from ocean waves and currents.

1189 AD: The first town is fully established with over 5,000 residents. A party is sent to explore the rest of the island. They never return.

1286 AD: The town, now known as Arcadia has grown to massive proportions with well over 18,000 residents. Fishing and agriculture is the biggest industries in the new world.

1456 AD: War erupts as the Arcadian city state seeks to separate from its motherland and form its own nation state.

1466 AD: The English empire gives up and lets them be. The Arcadian empire has formed.

1563 AD: Arcadian’s discover a native race on the other side of the continent. The natives are at first suspicious and scared of the Arcadians but finally succumb and agree to trade with the Arcadians.

1783 AD: The Empire is flourishing with well over 3 major cities and 2,895,763 inhabitants. However, Talks with the locals begin breaking down and War starts over the fight of the continent. Arcadian Army: 780,000 + 260,000 reserves. Native Army: 22,000.

1784 AD: The Native Empire is crushed and all remnants are destroyed. The Arcadian empire now controlled the entire continent

1844 AD: The Arcadian government celebrates its National holiday, Unknown to them however; there is a separatist group that represents the old native empire.

1900 AD: Arcadia is split into two as the separatists gain control over the northern half of the continent and Arcadia is left to the southern half.

1908 AD: rapid Militarization begins on both empires with conscription and marshal law being declared. The two armies quickly grow to 5,000,000+ a side.

1930 AD: The northern empire: Known as the Natura (after the natives) pull off a daring move and kidnap the daughter of the president, executing her by beheading on national television.

1935 AD: Peace talks break down after the Natura Empire takes responsibility for the beheading, instead of blaming it on terrorists like they have been doing. War breaks out as the two armies roll out everything they have

1988 AD: Population of both empires: 236,894,710 (combined = 450,000,000+) The war has so far cost the lives of 125,000,000 soldiers and civilians. No peace is seen within sight

2001 AD: The Arcadian Empire develops and drops 7 atomic weapons on the Natura empire eliminating more than 90% of its population and forever scarring the land and reforming it.

2002 AD: After much begging from the Natura people, The Natura government surrenders and is capitulated into the Arcadian empire. Arcadia once again rules the continent

2006 AD: After years of peace, and billions of dollars spent to clean up the radiation left behind, A radicals group infiltrates the Arcadian nuclear defense system and launches every nuclear weapon against Arcadia. Arcadia was effectively and swiftly eliminated.

4 AND: survivors emerge to a completely new landscape. The air, ground and water was free of radiation. They were ready to start all over. Hope has regained its strength.

The pass of sorrows, a sacred shrine is expected to be built by the end of the year.

(Note: I had an actual region that was fully built but windows 7 decided to blue screen and not let me save anything so i decided what a better way to start all over than on this forum)
edit. AD stands for after discovery ( the British empire decided to wait to colonize this new world because of the war that was going on with the Spaniards)

I actually like your details and history. However, you need some custom content. Also

- your population needs to be far more realistic 432 million. well we can't have self-supremacy.

- your currency is beyond what I expected. It needs to be realistic.
- 26 million is like wow! Highly excessive. You need to be realistic. I mean Sao Paulo is 12 million strong. This union does go by the present world times.

I truly like your history, and flag but I would advise to be realistic, and we don't believe in self-supremacy. On top, where is your country located? So we have an idea of a geography.

However, I'd accept you based on the way you detail your country, but you need some serious improvements, mostly. You need to be realistic about your nation. Please feel free to look at other CJ to understand what I'm talking about.

The flag is okay and I like the history. However, I do agree with Ray that you need more custom content.

I think you need to build it up a great deal more before I could consider voting on this.

IMHO, I wouldn't vote now. But I agree with dan about needing more custom content. Also, the AIN follows a real-time level of technology and society.

The value of the currency is also rather unrealistic.

It seems extremely unrealistic, both the recent history, the technology, the currency and the population in the past.
It does need some more images and a lot more custom content, look out for some on Simtropolis.com and sc4devotion.com.

And if possible, could you change the name? It's one letter different from ArcaCia, which would make discussions etc very complicated.

* A unique and realistic flag of your nation
* A map of your nation's location that does not overlap with an existing AIN nation and is realistic to your CJ style
* A type of government that again matches your CJ style
* A realistic size and population of your nation
* A reasonable ratio of custom content to maxis provided content, as that there is little repetition and a constant style of architecture
* The Network Addon Mod (NAM)

The following will be considered once all of the above points are yellow or green...

This is a decent application although you need some more pictures and development before this application can be taken any further. As Thomas has said, unless you are absolutely hung up on calling your nation Arcadia - you should change it. Your history is fantastically detailed - although unless you are a planetary nation you will need to adjust your timeline to 2010.

sorry some typos occurred and it was late at night but will take you advices and thank you guys for them, i am downloading content from both but the download speeds are excruciating slow so it may take a while. i do have some but they are more civic options and adding a high end police station in a small town would be unrealistic.
it was supposed to be a population of 32 million for the whole region, not just one city and the currency was supposed to be 176 USD.

@ Thomas, I would but Arcadia was one of the first city names and well developed cities when i first got simcity 4.

Like i said before, i am still recovering from a blue screen of death error with windows 7 so i will fullfill the member requirements as promised.

Not all great CJ's need a vast amount of custom content - just a few vital things like water mods and terrain mods, other things you like, can change the entire journal. Try looking at this for inspiration, I just came across it and it's amazing:
