PASSED | Moving/changing nations. Empty PASSED | Moving/changing nations.

Post by emgmod 18th October 2010, 08:58

Recently, there have been a couple nations that moved their spots around or have changed their country. While some people would like the change, others might be annoyed at the loss of a neighbor, an additional neighbor, or drastic changes in roleplay.

This is why I'm proposing that when a nation moves or changes, the AIN as a whole votes on weather or not they would be okay with the move/change.

Hmmm... on the fence. I would like to see a debate before I decide.

hmmm I can understand this, but also will sit on the fence.
One solution to people changing country is to allow a second country for Memberstates but put conditions such as the second country cannot be in the same region as their first... etc.. but yeah i'll watch the debate first before making up my mind..

We've already discussed the second nation issue. The decision was 1 primary nation with up to 2 dependencies.

I agree with this proposal - I know that when Rhodes nearly disappeared, I was very upset because it was the entire reason Cattala was there. Cheeky/Razz

I think moving nation should be taken a lot more seriously, I know there are differences between the level of roleplay and the depth of the history's for nations, but if members start moving their countries around, starting new countries, it could get very confusing.

I think it's okay to change nations, but to do it repeatedly over a short period of time just gets frustrating for viewers because it's there one minute, and gone the next.

Well i think its freedom of all to change there nation, but well if they change them all the time or names its get confusing a little bit. But still its freedom of all, some computer collapse, some just get bored whit there old and some get more experience to create a better country.
