Should we hold all future AIN meetings on Skype?
Moving AIN Meetings to Skype
The proposal is to move the AIN meetings from MSN to Skype, given the issues associated with MSN including:
- Instability
- Relentless advertising
- Difficulty getting everyone in the same room

Yes, that's the beauty of Skype. You can do either or both at the same time.

I think our first meeting was an unmitigated success! Almost 3 hours!

Re: Moving AIN Meetings to Skype
Hilarious meeting Dan and Jeremy!
We did manage to do some work in the first hour.
I think next meeting should be a similar time - 1-2pm CT, I think it was?
I\'d like to see if we can talk some more about the role-playing, we all sort of agreed we need more, but didn\'t get many ideas down for big role plays that aren\'t war. If we could advance on Julien\'s idea for bigger trade deals and things, that\'d be good.

Skype is pretty awesome, I found a dusty old mic (just need the lead now). Definitely a better way to hold meetings...

Awesome! With 8 votes cast, the vote is 6 in favour, 2 against.
The motion is carried.
If you do not yet have Skype, you will need to download it to participate in future meetings.

Re: Moving AIN Meetings to Skype
I realize this has already been voted on, but what about Ventrilo? It's basically the same concept, but it's a much more compact program, it uses alot less RAM to run, and you can create different channels so that the high administration, full members, junior members, and the likes can speak in different places.

Ventrilo isn't better, I used it also before but hmm, Skype is easier Cuz in Vent, it's complicated and I think we need to pay?
