Providence 2010

In light of Yorke's unsuccessful bid to host the XII Simlympics, the ASC has announced that they will be putting forward a bid for the XIV Simlympics in November.

Unsuccessful? Simply? woot? It was awsome, don't worry

I'm not at all disheartened. Your bid was terrific and a deserving winner.

Actually, not winning was a blessing in disguise. I've managed to do quite a bit of work on Providence and after only a day it's already better than Yorke. In fact, I'm beginning to see where I went wrong and, although it would have been nice to win, I'm kind of glad I didn't because I get to put in an even better bid next time.

I did put in a lot of work for Yorke, but looking back, it was a bit... rough around the edges. I now have 6 months to get it absolutely right in Providence, which is twice as much time as I had before and I have a better expectation of what is needed.

Oh, and it gives me time to get photoshop and work out how to use it so the presentation is more polished.
