I've finished the palace complex for now, so it's time for a tour!


Arriving by boat, we dock at the palace marina. There are plenty of slips here for both the king's boats and those of other politicians and foreign heads of state.


After climbing a wide set of steps, we come to the edge of the palace gardens.


The remodeled gardens.


One of the new buildings in the complex is this one, which contains an auditorium and conference hall.


This is another new building, which holds additional guest rooms and a spa.





A view overlooking the palace and gardens.


The palace has very good security. Just off the main road through this area, there is a guardpost on the palace driveway.

This is my WIP naval base, east of Astoria. It's the home port of the Royal Lower Columbian Navy's First Fleet, currently in the Mediterranean conducting exercises with Cattala's Marino Salvatore.
