Information, Schedule and Rules

Starting Friday 17th December 2010, Cattala will be hosting a summit conference where discussions will begin in public, on the forums, about relations with the Second Confederacy of Free Regions. Due to tensions between the two unions, I will be hosting the summit and I will be running it all - here.
Representatives of the COFR are welcome to attend, but I would like it to be a maximum of three members - preferably the head of the union, the deputy leader of the union and the minister for foreign relations (So Nate, K50 and DC). We will hear from several sides of the table and will make a decision based on that.
The summit will go on for as long as it is needed - a final decision, with a 50%+1 majority, will be made and it will decide the future relations with the COFR permanently. If any adverse actions are made during the summit, the offending member (regardless of union alignment) will be banned until the end of the the conference and will not get a vote.
At the end of the Summit Conference a summary will be made and the action decided will be taken.

Once the debate is finished, an evidence review will take place and then the Alliance of Independent Nations associate members and members will vote on relations then. That will immediately become law once it passes 10 votes, and a 50%+1 majority.

Rules

- Only AIN associate members and members can vote in the final decision.
- The three designated COFR representatives can post during the pre-voting stages. Any other COFR posts will result in punishment and/or entire union removal from the summit.
- No COFR members are allowed to post in the summit conference as of 10:00 London time, 18th December.
- Non-members can post evidence in the Evidence Room.
- Any provocative or rude posts should be reported to administrators.
- Members of either union who provoke an argument will be banned until voting is over.
- Slurs in other areas of the internet that are under union control or are managed by the AIN will result in punishment.
- Lobbying people on other websites is banned.

Can i just clarify, do any participating COFR members get a vote?

I believe they should.

Who will be representing the AIN at the summit?

Well i think that every one can have a word, exept i think that all must do this in correct way, no spaming and fighting, only constructive talk.

I will represent COFR at the summit.

All AIN associate members and members will be allowed to participate and vote. I will be leading the AIN representatives, and will be monitoring events along with the other administrators to keep everything in order.

I don't think COFR should be allowed to vote, it's actually a AIN choice... :bounce:

I think they can and should have a say in the meeting, but I don't think they should vote since it's the vote of AIN. COFR should do a vote in their forum by their side and if both votes are for the same thing, then this thing should be.

Will Matinenda be allowed to attend?

No. Firstly, it's not nations, it's union members. Secondly, only associate members and members of the AIN, and the three COFR representatives, can attend and raise discussions. Only AIN assoc. members and members can vote.

Hey all many of you could know me i am Hiigarar, first member of the first cofr and the founder. Well will start will a little bit of history and well return to the main topic.

COFR was first founded in Nationstates, not in simtropolis, again founded by me. This is why name Confederacy of Free REGIONS. COFR two times collapsed in Nations states and after i was bored whit nationstates i left and joined simtropolis and joined a union don't remember the name and soon founded my union again COFR. Here is the first forum also to show that i am telling the troth -

After the union was created, i decided to not head any possition, exept small not deciding. The union grew free and democratic, in which all had a voice. the union at some point collapsed. And well it was my toughts that i never found my union again COFR. COFR was my idea.

What happened now. COFR was founded whit out asking me. I tought well I will not join, but give it time. But what i have seen it is not what i created, it only a name. COFR is a take from AOIN not changing any parts of the forum. It is a union that shows that its against AOIN, but in reallity it has nothing to do whit COFR. It taken things from members of our first union, that did not belong to you. I am talking about Logo, that Philly Boy made. You never asked him. You taken names and ideas from AOIN, did you ask AOIN? You never asked. The name of your currency is taken from again our member. You never asked.

I would not ask this if COFR was a democratical union, a union build on the ideas of unity, not attacking wiki of other unions, not trying to make other unions look bad. This is not COFR I and other created. This was a decision made by members of the First COFR members from all around SimWorld. I don't want my name - the COFR, to be used, other peoples things (like the logo, Assembly of Nations and constitution) to be used. I request that the name be changed and that i and other members from previous union have nothing to do whit this.
