That the Probationary Membership Proposal be agreed to:
Probationary Membership
Occasionally, we have new members who simply don't update their CJs, or even participate in any events, threads or anything. This seems strange to me.
What I propose is a time limit - a trial period. I propose the following conditions for new members which must be fulfilled within the first 2 weeks of membership:
1) Must post in their CJs at least 3 times
2) Must contribute to 3 threads including at least 1 role-play thread
3) Must open at least 1 new topic
New members would be called Probationary Members, regardless of the level of membership they have been approved for, until these conditions are fulfilled.
If a Probationary Member fails to fulfil basic activity levels, their membership is terminated and they must wait 6 weeks to reapply, at which point they must justify why their application should be accepted. Reapplying members will be restricted to only applying for Associate Member status.

Re: Probationary Membership
Three CJ updates in a two week period seems to be a lot. Then again, they might have already made CJ updates.

Re: Probationary Membership
I dont think all of new members could update 3 times in 2 weeks. Except you mean update with all terms, arent you? (official update, news, diplomation, random n ready, national facts etc)
Re: Probationary Membership
I would find that a bit harsh. I don't think it's new associate members that we have a problem with, it's certain members that have been here a while and yet show no progress or improvement in their CJs.

When you add it all up, it's 1 post every 2 days. I don't think that's a hard thing to do.
