Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
FAQ
Why should we have this bill, it should be the nations own decision?
I completely agree with that, but nations should still keep a guideline on how things should work to prevent corruption, or a creation of a disadvantaged population, plus a lot of this stuff is optional
But each country is different in its own way, so it should choose!
Countries are diffrent, but the way kids should be taught should be the same so no one is disadvantaged, plus a lot of this stuff is optional
But I don't want to do some of it
Its 4 proposals, which anyone can freely have an opinion on, and if you don't like one, you can just vote for the other 3
It sucks
Did you read all of it? or did you even wait until I finished?

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
Arcacia is absolutely against this idea. Education is a sovereign issue and we will accept no interference with curricula.

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
Fairview disagrees with this, too because each nation government should decide the educational system, also we can not have a unique system for the entire union because countries are different from each others.

The proposal hasn't been finalised yet, so I will hold judgement on it.

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
Let's see what we can do because I don't agree with some things like the AIN tests, they should be optional, there should be only used to enrich the CURRICULUM.

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
As I said, they are all modular, and some may be admitted and other not.
And the Testing is just to standardize them so they can be all the same, this will help in international schools, etc.

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
If I'm correct, they are similar to the British IGCSE, which is similar to a GCSE and is tested all over the world.

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
Arcacia has very strict testing and has very high standards when it comes to testing international students. We are not about to dumb down our system for the sake of "no child left behind."
If one is not up to Arcacian standards, one does not gain admittance to an Arcacian university.
Standardised tests have proven to do more harm than good in every single arena that has been forced to adopt them.
Arcacia will block this legislation and if it passes, will not adopt, nor recognise it.

Re: Proposal | Education Overhaul and Uniformity Acts
Corraile will not amend tests and the education system on the whole solely for the purpose of standardisation of foreign students. We feel that to gain admittance into a local educational institution, one must pass the national standard.

I think it's good for countries that haven't educational system. But for other countries, it's important what they keep them system
That's a good idea, but we shouldn't apply for every
