Formal Statement of Withdrawal Empty Formal Statement of Withdrawal

Post by Daniel 30th September 2010, 07:26

In light of recent events, the Republic of Arcacia and the Lycanth Republic hereby fully and permanently withdraw from the Alliance of Independent Nations.

I, Daniel Raffaele, hereby step down as Vice President of the Alliance of Independent Nations.

The Alliance Cup, being my intellectual property is cancelled and no part of it may be used by the AIN in any way.

All AIN embassies in Providence, with the exception of Calaré, will be closed and expected to be vacated within 1 month and 1 day of this announcement.

The Tasman Summit is cancelled.

Any and all threads attached to the Republic of Arcacia and the Lycanth Republic must be deleted in full. This includes, but is not limited to, the City Journals and the Arcacian Airlines Group.

All AIN gate and landing rights at Arcacian and Lycanthian airports are rescinded, with the exception of CALair. The AIN waiver program is rescinded. With the exception of Calaré, citizens of AIN nations must obtain a visa prior to entering either Arcacia or Lycanthia.

The Republic of Arcacia hereby officially severs all diplomatic ties with all AIN nations, with the exception of Calaré.

My Skype account is to be removed from your contact lists.

The AIN Wiki pages for the Republic of Arcacia, the Lycanth Republic, and any and all attached pages are to be deleted.

My account is to be deactivated and no further correspondence from the AIN or its members will be welcomed.

I cannot remain as Vice President without administrator priveledges. I cannot remain a member of the AIN whilst my loyalty is questioned. I will not stand to be accused of such things as disloyalty, underhandedness and bias. All of which have been levelled at me. That I could be accused of acting against the AIN is repugnant and insulting.

For the most part, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the AIN and had looked forward to acting as Vice President. However, there is a faction in this organisation which has saught to symie any and all of my initiatives aimed at making the AIN more democratic and less stifling.

The stripping of my administrator priveledges, along with those of the duly elected President, and the subsequent trial on a charge of disloyalty and subversiveness has shown the true face of the AIN, particularly the Department of Administrators, which is little more than an oligarchy. Far from providing checks and balances, they act unilaterally and without the consultation of either the President of the Vice President.

Therefore, I am leaving. I will not be answering any further questions, nor responding to any posts or PMs. I have already disabled the notification feature on my account. I will not be returning again after I log off.

Goodbye.

Formal Statement of Withdrawal Empty Re: Formal Statement of Withdrawal

Post by K50 Dude 30th September 2010, 14:57

Sorry if I point out names.

Let me just say that I feel the AIN admin board had made a loss of community to the AIN. There is no doubt that there is a recent friction between Tyler/Nate and Daniel/Thomas, although there was a gigantic lack of communication.

You didn't just not explain things....

Tyler wrote:Any questions asked in this topics will not be answer on the public forum. Please pm Saathoff or Tyler for info. Not all questions can be answered as its a direct violation of privacy of the law.
You TOLD US you WOULDN'T explain things. Lets face it, the VP was going to become an admin sooner then later (he has the most power besides the president himself, there is NO REASON why he wouldn't be), I don't get why you guys even went to court about this.

Tyler wrote: It is a scandal and they have attempted to cover it up. Thus, committing treason.
You are going to have a hard time telling me that YOU didn't cover anything up on your behalf. Like what happened on the Admin board, something pretty major happened.

Now Daniel, if you are leaving because you think this is a dictatorship by Nate and Tyler then I have no sympathy for you whatsoever. Although some major facts are missing, something certainly went wrong, and you leaving proved you got in some big trouble, as far as we can see. All Nate was trying to do was prove to the rest of the AIN what happened, which you probably didn't want the world to see.

To everybody else, if Thomas leaves, I am leaving, and Kevin is leaving. You might as well rename us the COFR, because you are going to be losing a lot of community.

Once again, Daniel, I am sorry to see you go. I wish you the best of luck.

I have rescinded this withdrawal due to evidence recently coming to light that will blow this case apart.

I said PM me or Nate and we would tell you. We just didn't want a massive cluttered forum like we have now.

Post by Saathoff 30th September 2010, 23:44

Im just going to say one thing and one thing only. There is no friction at all between me and any members. I love you all. I will say this countless times, the issue was brought to me! I have to investigate by rule. I found that this was right what i was told. Every admin was contacted about the issue. Just cause me and tyler have responded to your questions doesn't make us the bad guys? Any one of the admins could of answered the questions.

Just cause this is going to court doesn't mean anyone will be impeached or even banned. Its just to clear it all up. Remember charges can be dropped. And its likely they could upon Daniel and Thomas just saying to us what happened. No reason to get all worried guys. Personally has the prosecutor i have no intentions to impeach either Thomas or Daniel. Both are amazing members and deserve to be our leaders.

I hope you all understand that
