Not sure of 1 thing though: I can't see many hints of socialism or communist heritage i.e. no red in the new flag, not many shabby buildings, no litter lying around etc. Also with GDP/pc noted as 25k USD it looks more like 35k USD/pc. Smile

There are rich areas and poor areas. Communism/socialism has nothing to do with poor areas and really many tenements are not poor. They are simple apartments the same like in New York

Ok I didn't mean it needs to look poor. It's just possibly me, I can probably never imagine Vladivostok/far eastern (ex-)Russian city as a thriving cosmopolitan metropol with skyscraper skyline...
It's just so much different from what I have seen in Eastern Europe/Siberia. Cheeky/Razz
