Can you feel the canals fever in the air! Marvelous smell! Wink

Each year at Easter, the canals are colored in a different color at every hour. Actually, the water isn't colored, it's spotlights on the bottom of the canals. The canals that are colored are the recreational canals located in the center of the city. The Klow Channel, the biggest canal that goes from Khanka Lake to the Klow River, isn't colored during Easter.

Syldavia really is awesome. I really enjoy looking at the pictures. And it's very, very, very realistic. It's also really cool that you don't just design a region, but that you also invent things like a flag, a complete history and pretty much everything a normal country has!

But I've a question (as a noobie): how do you (and others) get towns with the same style of buildings? Because when I make a city, it's always a mess of designs. Please help me!

Personally, I don't know about others but i'm sure i don't speak for myself, there is a mod that blocks the Maxis buildings that the game came with and you can just have the ones you're trying to build, like Australian or British or Asian of some sort, etc., etc. if you search simtropolis, you should find it Smile

Ok thanks! I knew already about the bulidings on simtropolis, but most of the residential stuff is growable. So is there a possibility to plop growable buildings or does it work different?

There's a cheat that makes you plop. You can plop most of the growable buildings inculding Maxis (Some Maxis stuffs are great). Smile

Yep, it's Klow International Airport. As I said, it's one of the most unique airport in the World! How? It is in the middle of the city of Klow!

It follow the Klow Canal, the canal that goes from Khanka Lake to the Amur River via the Klow river. You access the airport via the boulevards next to it by car but it is strongly recomanded to take the metro/subway or the bus to get to CBD or Old Town or you can even walk. It's not far, only ½km (500 meters).
