Thanks everyone!
The next update depends on your choice. The map below is for Centreburg's downtown subway system (it corresponds to SC4 subway). pick and station and let's explore!

I can't get to the Simtropolis site to copy the update here. Actually I'd prefer if the comments went there instead

Re: Centreburg
I'm surprised at that - why don't you want comments here as much as over there?

Re: Centreburg
As much as comments here are always nice, comments there do count towards the BTT

You don't think that's what you have here with all the great comments? I personally think BTT is a joke. How could he judge other's CJ when he doesn't have a CJ himself.

Re: Centreburg
I went to Brunswick, at the northern edge of the Bay of Centreburg. Through Facebook I had managed to find out that an old high school friend had also moved to Corraile. Brunswick, founded as Braunchsweig by German settlers, had developed into a little town, full of trees and greenery, albeat with a huge ribbon of highway smak in the middle.
After hours of catching up, Harold and I decided to continue the conversation over dinner. Along the way, we drove past the Thomas L. Deadwoods theatre, built in honour of one of the town's greatest contributor to the arts. A playwright, poet and an artist, we could feel his influence as we passed by the theatre itself.
Ruby Tuesday, was one of the main dining chains in Ravengrove, the much larger neighbouring suburb. An American casual dining chain, we had the usual stuff. Over the meal had I realised that he was actually quite successful, for he owned the local franchise of Ruby Tuesday. So technically, I was eating at his restaurant!
The Starbucks we visited, however, didn't belong to him. Coffee always ends a really good meal, and both of us enjoyed the chatter, the jazz music in the background, and the coffee that, for Harold, weirdly, was cold, and made of shaved ice. I stayed with traditional coffee that was actually liquid.
It was nighttime that I finally decided to bid him farewell.

Re: Centreburg
As a company dealing with agricultural produce, Glaxtonbury owned multiple farms scattered all around Corraile, from the Federal Territory to Stanraer Island. My job scope included studying the output of these farms and then deciding how to enhance production, and eventually, profits.
One of Glaxtonbury's largest farms in Corraile was in Jacobsen, a small town just about 20 miles away from Centreburg. Driving through the twn centre, I could already feel the difference, the small town charm and appeal, that was unique and different from the big city.
One of the main landmarks of the town, the large windmills that provided essential power to the little town. I couldn't help but notice these large, modern ones when I drove past them.
This is the large corn farm that Glaxtonbury owned in Jacobsen. Most of the workers lived in the houses nearby.
Another local landmark of the area, the Heldaberg Beer Distillery, the main source of home-brewed ale and lager in the area. It still produces beer today, but now one can go into the small visitors centre and bar inside to have a pint, which I did.
After the alcohol, I left, by which night had fallen and the streetlamps came on. I drove home.
